I meant that Roy had no good reason to start a fight, if the only reason was that Navarette interfered in their conversation. Navarette had every right to react to those punches.

It appeared that way. I can only speculate that Roy was spouting off loudly about shit, being A veteran someone like Navs can only take so much spewing without interjecting his 2 cents. Especially if drinking. It's part of the deal, people have opinions, dont get loud and not expect someone to chime in.
Obviously I wasn't there but have been to enough gatherings and heard people talking shit and everyone usually keeps their mouth shut just to avoid drama, Navs obviously was over it.

I like the way D.Navs handled it. For one, it didn't really look like those hits landed clean enough to really hurt and, like you said, these dudes are grown men. They can certainly settle petty arguments without throwing fists. Towards the end of the video Andy Roy was saying something along the lines of "dude just butted into our conversation," be that as it may, you don't fire on someone for that.

Agreed. Those dudes are pushing 40... maybe older? Two grown ass men fighting in what looks to be a swanky hotel, or something, is just trashy. Navarette was just trying to squash it out and not make a scene, and Andy Roy was acting like a 12 year old school yard outcast.

Still got respect for both of them, but watching Andy Roy gave me some pretty heavy second hand embarrassment.

Doesn't just watching him skate do that?  Enthusiasm can't make up for that style.
