I sure hope he would. And I'm afraid your brilliant mind might not even be worth getting worked up for?
So that was that.

... On a topic-related note, I just posted more Eli Gesner stuff today, this time regarding three other iconic Illuminati decks: www.memoryscreened.wordpress.com

Have you not heard of post-modernism, situationism, dada, pop art, the freeplay of signs and signifiers etc.?? It's 2012.

Harry go troll somewhere else. You don't know Carayol and if you were familiar with his work in skateboarding, art and music, you wouldn't be wasting any of our time.

We get it that you are on the internet and can look things up to barely validate whatever you are trying to convince us of.
There's probably a Sheckler thread around here so feel free to bother people there.

Found this on Traffic's site.
http://trafficskateboards.com/2010/11/memory-screened/

In the February ?10 issue of Skateboarder i had a memory screened article where I had to choose my 5 favorite pro models that I have had. Honestly, they were not my actual top 5, some of them were but I wanted ones that had a story behind it. My faces of the globe graphic was definitely not in my top 5 but it had a story behind it so I thought it was interesting. Who cares what I like, it?s about the story, the meaning. Yeah, I like that one, cool. Next. Wow, that was some interesting shit.

The Hydrant board is a classic, the Rocky board is a Traffic staple and the Love board was my first. You always remember your first anything. Plus that board came with a tattoo. The Illuminati board with Mr. Hawk?s signature, priceless. I almost consider Traffic logo boards my pro boards so with that the Mummers and MOVE boards were two of my tops for sure.

Mike Stein who created the Rocky board, had some great Philly history stuff going on a couple years back.

I really enjoyed the read, Eli's artwork is top-notch. I really want one of those Illuminati/Silverstar boards.

Loved Illuminati.  I also loved Silverstar.  By any chance do you have the story behind an Oyola Silverstar board that was bright yellow and had a black cat's face.  All you could see was the eyes.  Damn, I loved that board.

EDIT:  Found that cat on a t-shirt.  It really popped off that yellow though...

HATE! , I think you'll be happy: I asked Ricky and this is what he had to say about this deck:

"That graphic is a mask that I stole from the Philadelphia Phantoms, the American Hockey league affiliate to the NHL club, The Philadelphia Flyers in which I am a huge hockey fan. I like the logo and asked the artist to alter it, but not much. We just added a star to the forehead and worked out a bright scheme, the original board was bright yellow with the black mask popping out.
Nothing to crazy, just a bite off another company. But it did fit with the conspiracy theory of hidden face to a possible hidden society. Another mask to cover the truth. Haha."

Et voila!

Fuck yeah, Seb.  Thanks for the story!  I'm also a huge hockey fan and had no idea that Ricky was as well.
