trucks for a zip zinger

i tried to search up and couldn't find anything regarding this and i cant get any responses in the cruiser thread. i am gonna buy a zip zinger and wanted to know what suggestions you guys have for trucks to put on it. i saw someone had ACE 00s on a zinger and was wondering how it skates with such skinny trucks? and are they highs cause i was thinking about getting some 54s or maybe 56mm spitfires (the orange mushroom ones that are 92A). do the smaller trucks make for sharper turns? or should i just get some thunder highs that are closer to the same width of the board. i got indys on my regular board and on my bigger cruiser so i was thinking about trying something different for my smaller set up. any feedback or answers to my questions would be appreciated and i'll be sure to delete this if i get my answers and nobody else needs this thread. thanks pals.

wemy cruzer is a zip zinger, risers, indy 149 (because my old cruzer was 9 inches wide), and 56 orange mushroom spitfires (like you said) and i actually really like the wide trucks on it, so to me size of the trucks doesn't matter maybe indy 129s if yo dont want the wheels to stick out to much, with 149s you can only see about half the wheel. if you arn't ordering online go to a shop and try the trucks on the board and see what you want

Indy 129s work well as long as you use softer bushings.
To answer your question, skinny trucks will make for sharper turns since that will allow the board to use more leverage (theoretically, kingpin and pivot angle determine turning radius). Normally you would match truck size to deck width, but the Zip Zinger is so skinny that having slightly wider trucks (129s) isn't a big deal. I also prefer the wider grinding surface of 129s/ACE 02s over ACE 00s since the good thing about Zip Zingers is the ability to still do most of the tricks you could do with a normal board.

Ace are super turny and fun i'd go for those if you wanted to try something besides indy. The 22 is about the same as a 129 and is a high. They only makes two trucks in low and that is the 02 and 03 so the 00 are high as well

If I were doing it over again, I'd probably go Ace 22 also.
I currently am using Thunder lights 145 high, with some 55mm softies. I got them in a trade for basically nothing and thought it would be nice to lighten the board up a little because the wheels are a bit heavier than normal. I have no complaints though.
It'll be fun no mater what you put on it. Just get set up soon, and go.
Good luck, and have fun.

I have Ace 33's on my zinger and I love it. They stick out just a tad bit on each side but I think it's kind of cool.

Thanks for the feedback so far, I think I'm leaning towards the ace 22s at this point but that could change. Im definitely NOT gonna run indys since I already have two sets of 139s on two other setups. Keep the feed back coming and thanks again pals. ill post the parts as I get them in the cruiser thread. Oh and el barto do those spitfires slide at all being 92A?

yes soft enough to be smooth and go fast but hard enough to powerslide while downhill, like zip zingers there "trick" and cruser hybrids

I have the Ace 11's on my zip zinger nano. They are good. I loosened them quite a bit and now they are really responsive and turn well.

thaaaank you. that was one thing i was worried about. now i'll just have to choose what size wheels to get, i'm thinkin 54 or 56 will do and i'm pretty sure im gonna go with ace 22s to keep it flush with the zinger. thanks for everybodys input, if i could gnar you i would.

you might want to wait till indy comes out with their crusier truck, the 109, i saw it advertized in the new indy ad with reynolds.

i really wanna try something new, preferraby the aces, but i'm gonna go look at this ad and see whatsup, thanks for the heads up. im honestly gonna have to buy the deck first and then slowly get the rest of the parts anyway so i still have time to debate and wait for more feedback from dudes here if they have it. maybe ill get lucky and these 109s will come out and somebody will make a review soonish.
edit: where can i find this ad?

Ive got thunder 147s on mine and it works perfectly. 145's or indy 129 should be even better, if you go smaller than that I dont think itll feel as good... I had small slalom trucks on a cruiser a while back and it sucked, the whole setup just felt too small
