the worst decision he ever made was leaving real. he must be some extraordinary dumbass if he's that talented and cannot find a sponsor.
Sorta but money wise i'm sure he made more on Element in a few years then he woulda made on Real in 15
Didn't he leave real for Plan B for a split second or am I imagining things?
no, it happened. it was the plan b/dc package deal

He is not getting on LE. he was going to be the next dude on, but he was living with trapasso and did something to make trapasso not like him anymore. so that rumor of him trying to get on DGK sounds logical, but he will definitely not get on LE

i think they were bummed on his drug issues then they were doing a signing at a mall or something and he left in the middle of the signing to go buy jewelry.

http://skately.com/library/people/darrell-stanton

he was fucking 17 when free your mind came out? imagine how good he would be if he had focus more on his skating, minds blown

he's still in time to recover but seems the industry isn't backing him at all

Doing Yoga ona daily basis is the secret to his slithery style. He would probably fit in on DGK although if he ever did get on it'd be after they drop their video. That is, unless he has a very large amount of amazing footage on deck

He got kicked off plan b and dc because of his comment towards Danny way jumping out of helicopters saying that's not skateboarding

Quote from an interview he did in the Skateboard Mag.

I thought the obvious choice for you would be Life Extention because they're all your buddies.

Yeah, absolutely but its about where I feel comfortable and where I would do the most good in enhancing the company. I just see this all as a natural progression.  We all grow as people and I think Im more of a DGK kid rather than a dubstep kid to be honest.  I'm always going to back those LE guys to the fullest but Im not sure if theyre ready to adopt such a high caliber of skater as myself at this time with a new brand.  Wherever I go its going to be a big deal.  I dont see it going any different. It'll happen when its supposed to happen.

What???  He says its about going where he would feel the most comfortable and better enhance the company and he prefers DGK ( a well established brand which hes not to close with) over a new brand with all of his homies.  I dont even feel bad that hes not getting hooked up.

I just read his new interview and he seems pretty cocky and full of himself. Pretty bummed because his skating is so rad.

He sounds delusional. He made it sound like it was his choice not to ride for LE, when they didn't put him on, and he made it sound like it was his choice to leave Element, when he was kicked off.

darrell has some serious issues... second hand accounts of him tripping out/going manic on others, for seemingly no reason at all. clearly his personality/life choices overshadow his talent in the skate industry. shame, he's such a dope skater who i've grown up being stoked on. as long as he's still skating (and he is), that's all that really matters

Head the size of a blimp. It's not hard to see why he could get dropped from sponsors. That quote from his interview is ridiculous.

I don't have the mag with me, but will someone post the quote after this one?  The one where he puts himself in the same camp as Danny Way, Paul Rodriguez, and Guy Mariano, but mainly Guy Mariano...
