This a win/win in my book. I like Andy Mac and I like Amazon.

skating with that thing in his hand reminded me of when i was a kid and brian howard fell on a bmx handle bar at woodward and ruptured his spleen.

I actually think go-pros are kind of a fun concept...

In all seriousness.... how the hell does a dude who grew up skating ZT Maximus in Cambridge MA when it was hood as fuck, then moves to cali and sleeps in his car until he makes it as a pro skateboarder think its a good idea for kids to be buying skateboards through Amazon.com and not  supporting their local skate shop? Those damn Shamu costumes must not have very good air circulation in the head pieces.

Fucking eh.  ShaunWhiteSupplyCo abd'd but it looks like they are going for the competitive advantage by offering "Stand-up Paddle Boards".  In other words flat canoes.  That's gnar.

The "Product Reviews" from Amazon say it all, they'll grab a shit ton of business from people who don't know any better...

My son skates a lot and goes through boards like crazy. He has had them all every brand of board there is and he told me this Positiv board is the best he has ever had and wants to skate nothing, but Positiv. As a parent I am pleased with the product and the message that this company sends out to young kids. My son intends to skate professionally, and would love to skate for team positiv.

My 11 year old daughter wanted a board she could learn on. TO say that this is an excellent board would be an understatement. She was thrilled, we are thilled at only about $30 bucks more than a target or walmart board, this board beyond out performs... A++++ recommend to anyone new or even someone that knows about boards, they won't be disappointed!! Super fast shipping too A+++

I just printed out a paper copy of the article for the sole purpose of using it to wipe my ass and now I feel better about the whole deal.

On the bright side, CCS and other hack mailorder companies are one Amazon closer to being "core."

My thoughts exactly, especially after this quote

There are a few places that I feel it's ok to mailorder through, Seasons, Theories, Orchard.
This is going to take (some) business away from those guys and that's bullshit

For sure... there are definitely some legit places for people who don't have access to a shop, agree with you 100%.

"people aren't used to buying skateboards online, and for Amazon to understand the action sports space, they need to have athlete endorsements."

im pretty sure that aint true. but if it was why would u want people to buy online instead of a skateshop.
