Psyched to have Clyde on board with

It sucks that stuff like this (Epicly Later'd/Sieben's thing) is going to VICE instead of skate sites. I guess they got money to pay people for it, but I'd rather be reading this on a skate site or in a skate mag. Oh well, at least it's going somewhere for us to enjoy.

WTF are you talking about..? EL has always been on VICE (formerly VBS.TV) which is itself is run by Spike Jonze, ya heard of him...? It's not like it's all of a sudden going there, they started it, they own it and that's where it belongs...
VICE is a good site, you should check out some of the other stuff on there, you might learn something about the world...

Yeah thanks for that egg of knowledge. I could use an update on do's and do nots and more fucked up places in the world like Liberia. I clearly wasn't talking about the fact that Clyde's Corner or Sieben's now vice blog were born from Thrasher and TSM but are now hosted on some site geared toward college age coke heads in a perpetual identity crisis. Yeah I know EL was always on Vice, but I'm saying why give skate sites the traffic? silly me. Spike Jonze? Yeah I loved him in Three Kings.

Living in Richmond Virginia, ive had plenty of people from North Carolina come up and skate in town. Those from Asheville, where Clyde currently lives do nothing but trash him behind his back. Apparently (from these guys' mouths) the dude has become a lush who constantly name drops his former affiliation with skaters of the past to affirm his position in modern day skateboarding. I even heard someone say that he makes their scene look bad just by living there. The sad thing is these people pretend to be his friends to his face and then clown him mercilessly. I guess that's what happens when you're a former pro skater and people are kissing your ass to your face and wiping the ground with you when you aren't watching.

You can always watch EL embedded on Thrasher or Hellaclips, then they get the web hit (I think).
Seiben and Neiratko probably get paid more to blog on Vice then other sites and it seems like a more suitable place than a dedicated skate site.

Sort of. They embed Vice's player, so Vice still gets the views + pre-roll ads, but it's just watched on the Thrasher and Hellaclips pages instead.
While I agree that Vice seems to be sneaking their way in on somebody else's industry, they're in a good place for putting out in-depth skate coverage, because they don't have enough skate company advertisers to worry about pissing off. They can probably say more than real skate sites can.
And as it's been said, Vice puts out great content aside from Epicly Later'd and I'd rather it was there than say, ESPN.

Im not. Id rather see it being put out through an actual skateboarding website. SLAP maybe? Vice still sucks dick. At the end of the day vice is still a magazine/website run by a bunch of hipsters that try clinging to anything thats precieved as "cool". they dont actually care about anything. In general its not really journalism, just lots of crappy opinion pieces. for example: motherboard. Motherboard is absolute garbage. Leave tech reporting to pe!ople who actually know what theyre talking about. Its not even entertaining.

So what do you want then ? the opposite of VICE or some shit ?...I don't understand why people search for the ultimate journalism into Vice and then cry that they dont find anything clever or interesting...I view Vice as a melting pot of cultures...It's boring at some point and pretty nice or funny at times...And don't forget that the mag is FREE...so mang,no big deal.
Hipsters are cowards, cry babies and faccottes who envy skateboarders and writters, who cares if they try to rules the world they'll never going to achieve anything else besides photography and buying clothes...they are the new era posers.
So where's is Clyde's corner ?
