Making Money via the Internet/Computer

So basically I am a broke ass musician / freelance audio engineer and I am not really able to make ends meet.

One thing I know is I am always on the computer/internet and I have seen a few ways to make money online but have never tried it myself.

Any of you guys ever succeed in doing this?

Always have the mentality that if it was easy to make money online, everyone would be doing it.

The most common way I know is just monetizing a blog or youtube account or whatever. Trick is you have to get a lot of traffic before you can even make any decent money.

there are things like surveys you can take online; however, there's so much bullshit out there it's hard to actually do anything but get scammed/waste time.

If you really want to make ends meet, the safest bet would just be getting a regular-ass job. That or sell your blood and semen

My friend used to run one of those porn websites where you'd click the screen grab and it would take you to the video. I have no idea how much thought it took but it paid for his rent, thousands of dollars worth of camera gear and so on.

I've heard of people "turking"? I think it's called? It's basically doing online surveys for different shit. There's a few different online communities that help each other out by posting links to new surveys before they die out. I don't think people can live off of that alone but I've heard people saying they make some beer money for the end of the week that way and I'm sure it adds up over a month long period. You could look into that.

Yeah I have been looking into online surveys but seems like that shit pay pennies to a dime for each survey so unless you do like 100 its not really feasible.

I think if I pooled a few resource together with some research I could make a buck but it definitely isnt a gold mine...

ive been working online for a few years. my dad has been into making money online/web development/SEO etc for a while, doing it full time for the past 10 years, and taught me how its done. i just do it part time (like literally an hour a week and sometimes zero hours for a month) to make some extra cash. the money ranges from $50 a month to last December when I made $1800.

basically if you can make websites that draw in traffic then you can make money. the websites are easy to build, buy a domain and some hosting, install a wordpress site that looks decent, and fill it with the right information. learn how google works, build up "x" topic websites in a way that drives search results to your site, and then have affiliate programs with eBay, Amazon, and private companies that pay you per click. for example, i have a site about skate shoes and blog about all the latest shoes coming out and mix in some horrible Globe and Osiris as well (big in the search engines). every few posts on my site will have a few links to ebay auctions for that said shoe and i get paid if people click them and even more if they buy them. the key is to make relevant websites, make it something that is actually useful and worth being there, and also capitalize.

Honestly I don't want to have any features on this album as it'll be somewhat of an magnum opus for me. However if you can prove to me that you're not just one of those keyboard musicians & actually have some form of talent, I'll possibly consider a collab on a future project.
