First one with coster's (Jonathan kent) voice and second with russel crowe's voice (Jor-El)
Already hearing complaints that this is being 'Nolanized' so to speak, but in my opinion that's a good thing.
Man of Steel - Teaser Trailer with Kevin Costner (HD)
Man of Steel - Teaser Trailer with Russell Crowe (HD)

The idea was tossed around. When word got to Jon Hamm that they were potentially eyeing him, he said he was way too old to don the S.

is this the origin story again?? c'mon we fucking know it already.
it certainly doesn't feel like a Zack Snyder film. It looks to be taking a lot of cues from Nolans batman films but its early and barely shows a thing. i'll wait and see.

Fuck Christopher Nolan...taking old harmless comic books and making them super violent is insane..He is like the Joe Camel of the film industry...why anyone would want to work with him...is mind boggling...I am definitely not supporting anymore of his vision...fuck his bullshit...there are better things to do then watch his flicks...

Dude he made Batman like the movie The Crow...you're way off...you did not read the press when Christopher Nolan was relaunching Batman, there was a notice to viewers the new adaption will be more dark and scarier? A never before look at the comic? Batman in the 90's wasn't Mortal Kombat...Nor Scarface or The Godfather, or the comic book The Punisher. I used to buy a lot of comic books in the 80's and I remember there was a section in the comic book store of more violent comics that also had sex in them....Marvel and DC not being included on that rack in the back corner.
You claiming that Batman has always been a super violent piece of media impacting society is crazy....The only societal impact is there are homosexual references...if anyone was to say anything about Batman in the past, that is what they would say, not the story lines are super violent. Christopher Nolan's versions are, there is no doubt.

read the storyline to this one, which was written in 1988:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_The_Killing_Joke
And in the comic, the way I read it, they weren't pictures of "various states of undress" its her naked and bleeding in sexually provacative poses that they put her passed out body in. If you don't which part I'm referring to, its the part where Gordon is strapped naked to a ride and forced to look at these pictures of his own daughter.

That part is seriously fucked up. She was just shot, paralyzed, and Joker began undressing her and started taking photos. The Killing Joke is genius and gruesome.

Pretty much sums it up perfectly. There were parts of Watchmen that I loved. Snyder certainly has a visual style down, I remember the first time seeing 300 being blown away, then it got old.
Nolan being on board will bring a lot of stability to the movie, yes Snyder might "Nolanize" the movie which essentially means he is making it better.

After seeing the most recent movie, it provoked me to go through all of my old comics and I've come to this same conclusion. Batman is super fucking cool.

Nolan's bat trilogy is amazing, but personally I like the detective aspect of Batman the best.
do yourself a favor and read the long halloween and dark victory back to back.
Superman will never do it for me.

My biggest complaint on comic book movies. We keep rehashing the same shit we already know. Why not develope on a different aspect?
And speaking of something getting remade over, Total Recall looks like the most uninteresting movie ever since it looks so much identical to the old one as far as story goes.
