You're right but its kinda difficult to compare swimming with skateboarding. Swimming is just about speed. There aren't any tricks to do so there is very little room for progression, and a person can only swim so fast.

This is kinda off-topic but I always thought the only nationally recognized sport that is comparable to skateboarding was figure skating. no homo.

My friend from elementary school is at the Olympics for fencing right now! He's been the only part I've watched at all.. Race Imboden, maybe you'll see him on the tv box! He used to be such an idiot in elementary, we'd wrestle and when I'd whoop on him I'd have to sit on him for 20 minutes cause I could tell if I let him up he'd start swinging.

i was watching equestrian highlights this morning, what a terrible sport, it seems like animal abuse, and a sport only a extremely wealthy person coudl take part in. everyone was falling, a horse was hurt (likely put down), it doesnt seem to fit what the olympics are branding themselves as.

all and all, the tape delay and the fact tha tif you are watching tsn1 for two seconds you see the results and flip to tsn2 you will end up half way through an event you already know what is goignto happen, let alone the internet coverage spoilts it too.

beer keg, as much as that sucks, it wasn't much of a game anyway, but i can understand your frustration as i watched equestrian for a couple minutes the other night and it was quite torturous. the aussies were getting beat by 20 most of the last two quarters than managed to work their way up to getting beaten by 16 or some shit.
