Based on the fact the filmer was listening, "You need to leave, now.  I will escort you to the exit," would have sufficed.  From what we can see, the skaters didn't swing anything at the guard, yet the guard nearly hits the one kid by the door??

This video is typical shit, meathead security guard asshole hates his life and picks on kids. Fuck the dude, hope there are consequences, loss of job and guard card (New Zealand equivalent) at least.

The more troubling thing for me are the comments making fun of the kids and sticking up for the guy. Always see this when news stories and what not are posted where the primary viewer demographic aren't skaters. Impressively, the maturity level in comments on this site is even lower than YouTube.

The whole situation could have been handled a lot better but I do think that kid was egging the security guard on. Just don't get smart with security guards, and I don't know how it works in NZ, but if they cops would have told him to give the board back he should have just waited on it. I think the most unjustifiable bit is how he nails the other kid with that skateboard when he obviously wasn't trying to fight him.

Egging him on? I don't necessarily agree. Agree that it coulda been handle better but seemed to me like he just wanted to get his shit back and by taking the kids stuff and taunting him the security tard was egging the kids on. I personaly would've kept the discussion limited to "please give me my board and I will leave right now" but I got te impression that the shitfucker would have acted decent no matter what. Obviously on a power trip and just an outright asshole.
