Yeah it would. 5 Years ago at Kona I tried to skate the j-bowl with a mini-cruiser about the same size as a banana board and wound up stepping off the nose on the hip, falling to flat and ripped all the skin off my palm. I wasn't trying anything, just wasn't paying attention. They'll bite you hard.

I was literally just pushing down the street on one of those Stereo Cruisers and, forgetting it's like 2 feet long, I put my back foot down where it would usually go and caught the ground. I flipped over and landed on my back. Little bastards.
