whoa i guess the soap thing is real.  with that said, workshop isnt gonna die!  how many of you guys buy the boards?  my last three boards have been workshop boards.   if people actually buy the boards rob wouldnt have to whore out the company to keep it afloat.

It said that Carter, Hill and Castrucci will be staying in Ohio so perhaps they will still keep a small operation or headquarters in Ohio but moving the majority to California. I do remember Rob saying he wasn't going to change anything and Chris Carter saying he didn't want the company to move out of Ohio, this is pretty fucking lame.
I'm from Ohio, I can only imagine how fucking bummed the skaters in Dayton are. I'm extraordinarily pissed that this is happening. Being Ohio based was one of the things that made DNA different. Carter, Hill and Castrucci better have some pull with Dyrdek to make sure the headquarters stays in Ohio. Which sadly, it looks like it won't.

I work at a shop in Parma, Oh called Tri-Star Skateboards and this is a kick to the crotch to us. The people at their factory will deliver us stuff at times because we're so close. All of our avid Alien riders around here have gave up on them

I"m from Cincinnati and was talking to a buddy who still lives there and it seems that the guys at Anonymous are thinking it's a bit shady too.

Are you surprised? Even Lebron didnt want to stay in Ohio and he was born there.

HAHAHAHA.

ANYWHO.  What bullshit.  The odds of AWS heading toward being best friends is very low as long as Dyrdek is still in control of it.  Although I don't understand this dumbass decision I still have faith that no other skate company will follow the path of Zoo York

Don't know the direction they're headed but can only assume to see them next to the Shawn White collection at Target.  They are actually not moving the operation from Ohio, bad wording in the interview.  Warehouse & everything is staying in OH, they're opening an office to do work/business out of in Irvine CA.

Whoever wrote that press release should be tickled until they piss their pants, then told they did a very bad job and to never do it again.

Jesus Fuck....Lets see what Robbie D does first before everybody starts talking about how gay it is. Everyone on here gets way to emotionally involved. Its skateboarding......you can do it by yourself and you buy what decks/shoes/clothing you want. Dyrdek will do it right give the man a second.....Kalis respond.......
I don't get the hype around Dylan. in general, but who the fuck would logically put him on Antihero? They are a bunch of roughneck, don't-give-a-fuck-what's-cool, tranny skating dirtbags (and I mean that in the most positive sense) and he is a trend-hopping hipster pretty boy. Do you think there is ever a conversation about fashion in the Antihero van? I get it, some fanboys on this site think Dylan., despite not really doing anything ground breaking and having a really contrived style, is great, but do you guys just listen to what is supposed to be cool and just go with it? Antihero is cool, Dylan. is cool, he should ride for them!!!

I also seriously doubt Dill will ever leave Alien. Have you heard the way he talks about it? He treats it like he is a cult member that pledges 100% allegiance to its existence.

I think Rieder is an incredibly good skateboarder--that became clear with his Transworld part--and he undoubtedly deserves to be pro for Alien. I feel as though that Epicly Later'd episode sort of inadvertently stigmatized him as a fashionista (Brent Atchley has been cuffing his pants tightly a few inches above the ankle for several years now, ironically, the skateboarder who more than anyone has been accused of having a contrived style (which I think is bullsh*t)) instead of exhibiting his skateboarding. I don't know if that stigma has sort of made him seem more contrived or if he truly is being such.

Anyway, I think Dill's vision of Alien as a prestigious institution is spot on.

claiming they've been wack since Mosiac is too critical...

i dont think you can blame this on epicly laterd. have you seen that clip about his weiner store?

This popped up on my facebook feed:

"alien workshop soap on a rope as seen at agenda" guess they weren't joking about that soap thing.

I would definitely wash my balls with that.

even though those investors from la jolla and anthem media group are now involved hopefully rob will try to stay true to the brand that chris carter has worked so hard to develop. i think all the riders would be against big changes in the company because they've been there for a while now and they know what alien workshop is and what it isn't. i'm sure that ave and dill will keep things mellow and not allow the dumbass idea of alien workshop soap to go into production.
