Yep. But what's even worse is the continual use of the most generic possible cockrock in other thrasher clips, especially since Phelps was bumping George Harrison at the beginning of this one so obviously he is aware that good music exists.

i was wondering that too. maybe he didn't want to have the reputation of pressuring a kid into trying a completely insane trick and then dying. the dude didn't seem all that confident in his ability to pull that one but with the prospect of being put on blast on thrasher's website, he may have ended up going for it anyway and getting critically worked. what's been done on that rail? i only remember harmony doing something on it and andrew pott getting a front board.
