Nike's new indoor training facility in dowtown LA

Got this from my homies site. It's near The Berrics and Fantasy Factory as well. Park looks sort of unfinished to me but maybe they wanted it to be this mellow.

I skated it on saturday. The tranny is titties and the ledges are perfect. It's fucking beautiful. But it got boring quickly. Definitely a training facility and not really a skatepark.

I had the chance to check out the new shoes for myself.
After not owning a pair of skate shoes for many years now
, I do have to say these are not only functional but comfortable and true to street style. The Nike Lunarlon technology incorporated in the kicks provides an ultra-lightweight shoe with springy cushioning for impact and improved stability, while protecting the foot.
Now I just need to get a complete set-up and I?m ready to skate again
.

"Training Facilities " are meant for teams built by their sponsors example nike. They usually include very basic obstacles to learn new innovative tricks on to practice or "train" to get better so their sponsors arent paying them for nothing.

If memory serves me, which oftentimes it does not, the term "training facility" was coined by Rob Dyrdek and Caine Gayle in some Transworld video so if everybody is on board, we can quit calling private parks that considering those two goons started it.

do they not just shorten it to "TF"? I see that written all the time.
6th and mill looks very cool from an aesthetic vantage point.

Nike is so fucking lame. You know some dipshit in the marketing department found out about the berrics and saw that shit sold and said "let's make the nike version." So now, in case you are pro for the nike team, can't skate the millions of street spots, hollenbeck park or the two other private parks in the immediate area, you can have a place to go. Good job nike! That really made sense on a practical level!

heyyyyyy...fuck you. I'm going to keep typing now. You're one of those pile of shit young kids who thinks nike is cool right?
Oh, and the difference between a TF and a skatepark is this:
World Industries had a skatepark because they were dope,
Nike has a TF because they are corporate tools.
skate every damned day...until the profits drop off. Then quit.

Who said just found out? Who knows how long this has been in the plans for. Besides, Koston managing the berrics or whatever (apparently some LLC owns it or something?) is all the more reason they don't need to make a third "TF" within a couple of blocks for the same handful of people to skate.
I don't see how this park isn't redundant and stupid... Please somebody explain to me what I am missing and why it was so necessary for a third private park in almost as many blocks needed to be built

Because they're different? You could say the same thing about skateparks: "why build another one when you have _____"
Ground looks different, different stuff. You know, obvious things.

Yeah yeah, I started skating in 92-93 and we never had a skatepark. In like 99-00 when those shits started turnin up I didnt know what the fuck to do......Literally. I think it is cool to have some spot to go skate whenever but it is totally different than how I perceive going out and skating. I cant knock the Berrics or any Pros that want to have private skateparks, because with the amount of progression now days these guys have to skate all the time just to keep up. If they don't skate everyday there are a thousand kids on the internet saying XYZ Pro sucks dick. I still to this day would rather just skate the flat parking lot around my house with the shiny yellow curb. I dont like Nike but I dont hate them...Im still on the fence.....but if the guys they pay to skateboard can have more fun for now and maybe learn more retarded tricks that nobody else can do and film them........I may watch.

Reactions from who? We are on a message board. You are an over the hill liberal bully. You point out concepts that any 14 year with above average intelligence already knows. I am not talking a genius here, just above average. But you are not 14 are you. You are past due, so you pick on kids in forums and point out a bunch of obvious crap nobody cares about. And then you call it insightful.
