They look a lot better on feet than they do in photos. I wonder if Mcenroe will have clips in Gino's part.

To help him with which cereal to choose?l

Nike SB crew -

"Ok Gino , we've got this bridge on lock down and we have this crane with a state of the art RED camera set up. We'll be doing this very elaborate panning shot to build the storyline. Now you'll be entering the scene here and we just want you to do that signature push. Later we will throw in a C-class celebrity to show that you are somehow relevant/important and maybe throw attention away from those ugly white shoes. Our goal here is to confuse everyone by putting tennis sounds and showing as little actual skateboarding as possible. Less is more"

Gino -

"I don't give a fuck, give me more money"

Backing this clip all the way. I actually skated the original Challenge Courts back in '04, they were so good. Can't wait to pick these up.

I love Gino's skating and all, but I can't say I'm backing him at the moment. Dude seems really fucking lazy.

gino should've pushed round a tennis court while mcenroe tried to hit balls at him, and then gino ollies over the net and mcenroe is stunned and shouts 'are you kidding me?!' and then they notice they're wearing the same shoes and laugh simultaneously and mcenroe says 'fancy a game?' and gino says 'only if we play berrics rules' then mcenroe is left confused and gino pushes off doing a nollie back heel and winks at the camera which zooms to his face

i have no problem with anyone liking gino, i have a problem with dick riders who jerk off to him though. dude does a noseslide for 4 inches and someone says its the best noseslide they have ever seen. if you are getting nike money, you should produce footage besides pushing.

Why would Nike advertise their new shoes with a guy that nobody knows or cares about?

He doesn't even skate enough to qualify as a professional!

When was his last full part?

Oh wait.

Never lol.

edit: i thought the Swoosh was getting rid of the SB line and was going to call it Nike athletics or exxtreme or some shit? how come all the upcoming SB shoes/ads still have the logo on them?

anybody? Tate?

Exactly - the cream rises to the top. All you fools bitching about his "latest part" and "wheres the footage" don't get it. He's put in his time and will always have a place in skateboarding.

Glad to see some people were psyched on the McEnroe cameo. I highly recommend the HBO documentary "Fire and Ice" about McEnroe vs. Born during the 1980s. This will give you a better idea of why Gino chose him and said this in that link SmokeCrack posted:

"John McEnroe just didn?t care and he played with so much emotion," Gino recalls. "He never held back and always spoke his mind. Tennis never saw that attitude until he came around. I admire how he did things his way and didn't conform to anything. He stood for just being yourself, whether good or bad. There?s honor in that."

I agree with that noseslide comment. I don't think I've ever seen one so light-footed with a more casual dismount.

I think the shoes look sick.  Look like something Jerry Seinfeld would wear circa seasons 2-7, and that mans taste in sneakers is impeccable

if it aint hamma's it ain't skating. if you don't like what I like you wrong. Nyjah has a better style than gino. Noseslides and big no-comply reverts ain't real skating. I know more about what a sponsor is looking for than the people who actually give the endorsement. Nike sucks at marketing, those fools dont know to sell shit.
