I can't help but find those socks ridiculous. The skating is great; his kit, not so much.

Living in Boston for the past 10 years, I've been a huge fan of both Eli as a person and his skating, but his switch from fresh/hip-hop to whatever he dresses like now has me scratching my head every time I see something new. I know it seems petty to care about how someone dresses, but I've been skating for 25 years and when I was growing up, the skaters I looked up to also seemed to have the coolest gear. Now, everyone dresses like they're going to see an indy rock show in Brooklyn loft. Anyway, skating was sick as always.

yeah his skating is amazing. but his self named clothing company combined with his switch from supersonic's track suits to hooded vests with long mittens makes him come off as a huge cornball

It's whatever, as long as he's skating. And I don't think Templeton has changed his look all that much...

I made fun of his nollie boneless on clipper for like two or three weeks after I first saw it.  Fine as a dork around trick ( i guess?) but if you're trying to play it off as a serious move,  fuck off.

Something about this guy just gets on my nerves

How?

A boneless is snapping your board into your hand,  pushing your foot off flat ground. A fast-plant is when you ollie, grab, and push your foot off something you're going over.

If he hadn't nollied into it, no one would say he did a boneless over that block. It would just be a fast-plant. With the nollie, it's a nollie fast-plant.

Youre wrong because you dont plant your front foot on a fast plant.  So its a nollie bonless sorry bud.

boneless ones happen with the front foot off. fastplants happen with the back foot off. period.
