They are both copying alot of things. That's how new things are produced actually. By taking many things that already exist and changing them.

I think their in on it together to bring back 90's skate beef. Like in the good old days when skate graphics had company owners being sodomized and riders were kicked the team via Thrasher ads.

Alright, I'm gonna say something that I wasn't supposed to.....
All of these dope companies with a 'P' have more than that letter in common. It's common knowledge that the letter 'P' is Dr. Emmett Brown's favorite letter. Back in 1985, Dr. Brown invented a time machine that took him and a young skateboarder named Martin McFly back in time and into the future. McFly actually became the inventor of skateboarding when he dismantled a child's scooter to make a skateboard to get away from a gang of thugs. The gang of thugs immediately aligned skateboarding with something misfit kids did and skateboarding was made fun of until the mid-90s when the X-games emerged.
Back to the real matter at hand. In the third part of the trilogy, the time machine was destroyed by a train, but then later revealed to still exist AS a train. That train could hold more people. Since Dr. Brown was a fan of both misfits and skateboarders from his close friendship with McFly, he visited three places where skateboarding was both unpopular and less common. Northern Europe, the UK and the Northeastern seaboard. He met with several skaters in these areas and took them back to their favorite era of skating- the mid 1990s- and said that he would allow them each to take elements from that era and apply it to their skateboard companies. Palace took VHS, Politic took board shapes and Polar took the art form. All of them got to take the style of skating where it was more street driven and less about Red Bull and ESPN. Dr. Brown insisted that if Polar were to take the art, that they would have to incorporate his old friend McFly's disdain of scooters into account which is where we get the new boards with scooter kids getting hanged etc.
The only way I know this is that Doc Brown's favorite letter is 'P' and my last name starts with that letter as well, and even resembles the word, "physics." Dr. Brown, being a student of all sciences, and having a bond with skaters from McFly easily became friends with me as well.
Now you all know.

Not sure on that. I was just referring to the shape and size of the nose. But judging from where the company is located, it very well could be Chapman.

Is there a book that explains everything? Google searches are fruitless. If I don't find answers soon I'm going to join a cult. A sweet cult.

Oh look, they don't care and support them. More people should follow suit.
Oh no, I just saw that Politic's Wheel Head dude has a passing resemblance to the Monopoly man, the Pringles man AND motherfucking Snidely Whiplash! WTF?!
It's straight from the Cincinnati Reds original mascot
