I am at the last boss on Zelda - The Minish Cap. Zelda and Metroid are the best games series ever IMO.

It's true though. Zelda games are incredible, Ocarina of time is fucking incredble.
But.
MGS games are some of the best games ever made, ever. Storylines will fuck with your head.

The og Zelda on the NES was the game that made me really fall in love with video games. I remember I stayed up for 3 days straight to beat it. I just beat Wind Waker on the cube a couple weeks ago. I have not played the new one yet, but plan to pick it up while I am home for Christmas. Zelda and Metroid are the best games ever, it's true, esp. Super Metroid and Zelda OOT.

ocarina of time is the best game ever
A friend of mine is a video game tester for activision in L.A. He said that in his interview they asked him what he thought the best video game of all time was. He said Ocarina of Time. Apparently their reply was "ok good, just had to make sure you knew."
I never liked the zelda games myself. Too much thinking. I prefered Megaman, and still think Megaman 2 is the best game ever. You get multiple weapons to switch out, there is strategy to beating the game, but in the end, its still a scroller, and I fucking love scroller games.

the castlevania series is better than megaman in my opinion, not including the 3d ones though, they sucked.

Guys who played Megaman and Castlevania and couldn't figure out Zelda, were guys who grew up to molest little children and finger themselves.

i never said either of those were better than zelda. but you had better believe, fingering myself is better than all of them combined.

My dad became so obsessed with playing Zelda: A link to the past when it first came out. All he would do was play that game. It got so bad he started skipping work to play it. Before work, on his lunch breaks and after work he'd play so hard that he would forgot to cook us kids dinner (nearly tore the family apart). He even wrote his own walkthrough(complete with maps and weapons sketches).
