I had Zelda for Gameboy. Almost finished it but then some retard kid from school deleted the saved game by accident. After that I traded it for Tennis.

I prefered Megaman, and still think Megaman 2 is the best game ever. You get multiple weapons to switch out, there is strategy to beating the game, but in the end, its still a scroller, and I fucking love scroller games.
the castlevania series is better than megaman in my opinion, not including the 3d ones though, they sucked.
I agree that Zelda and Metroid might be the best over all game series ever, but my personal favorite games ever are Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Resident Evil 4.

I'll get a Wii eventually, but I'm playing Twilight Princess on the gamecube.  Not disappointed in the least.

Definatly my favorite video game series of all time. Wind Waker is the newest one I've played, I don't know if I want to get sucked back into video games with a new one though.
