Flexing not only my skate-nerding, but also my nerd-nerding... I remember a poster on alt.skate-board mentioned this trick.  Also that day, supposedly, Penny did a 180 nosegrind the hard way--coming at it frontside, frontside 180 switch bs 5-0.  And, so the rumor went from this post, nearly got that trick with the flip in it too.  I think the poster claimed to have been some guy that rode for deathbox back in the day.  I always took it with a grain of salt, but -- having now had someone a bit more 'in the know' reclaim it...

Any confirmation from the above post, pbn?

i saw him do it the easier (still hard) way (switch frontside 5-0) in a matter of a a few trys, it was definetly a baker maker (hands grabing the ground) but he still rode away. as far as doing it the hard way? i never saw him trying that, he did try to nollie flip back 50 it along with a couple other crazy trick attempts. i think bryce was shooting photos. we  left the sesh before they did, so maybe he tried it the other way but i really dont know.
