had this for lunch yesterday and i'm just now finally hungry enough to eat again

Colombian dish called Bandeja Paisa.  it's pretty much the best thing in the world possibly.  sausage, a steak, some huge pork rind thing, plantains, avocado, beans and an over-easy egg on top of a bed of rice served on gigantic plate

you won't have to eat for like a day afterwards

No, my grandma is Cherokee Indian, she had 7 kids and we are from the south, she knows how to cook large quantities of food. At times there are like 25 of us in the house, all the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

Not only that, but I am typing this from my porch in perfect weather, watching my dogs play around the backyard and howl at firetrucks.  Pretty good afternoon.

Getting my beer set up so I can get to work on this homemade BBQ sauce and then I am doing my first homemade horseradish sauce.

I require a lot of beer when I cook.  The way I plan on making this horsey sauce is gonna be fucking lethal too.

Fresh.  The root is a pain in the ass to chop too.  It's harder than a parsnip.

Good to know.  I peeled and cubed.  Probably not a big deal since I only cook for two usually.  Goddamn though....  Two roots, 1.5 c of white vinegar, about 2 Tbsp of dijon mustard, a little sugar and less salt.  My wife couldn't handle it.  The marinade I made out of a local BBQ sauce and some pureed raspberries turned out excellent too.

Sounds pretty good .  We used to make Horseradish juice at one place I worked at . Baiscly throwing in 50 + root in a juicer . When you made it and the hmm gas is the wrong word ... condensation is the wrong word too , anyways when you juiced it and it hit your face , oh my god , tears in your eyes , coughing . strongest thing ever . fucked you up

Also one story about one restaurant where they used horseradish to coat fish in the cest befor cooking . kinda like you would do with schnitzel . Basicly they sent a dude down in the basment with the horseradish , a grater and gas mask with goggles . had to be hell

In the gaming / IRC / code'ing world . 1337 is a "holy" number . Leet speak where you change letter for numbers . Like say  m0nty , or sk1llz and so on .  1337 is LEET . ELITE

1337 also means I spend too much time on slap =p

hehehe.   i did. simmered them in Bitburger and sliced onions for about 20 min.  meanwhile on the side prepared my toppings:  sliced onions, anaheim peppers and poblano peppers sauteed in butter and beer.  and then of course some German mustard.

nothing more perfect on a sunny weekend day
