i start college in a week, anybody got advice and tips on how i should behave?

^^I answered to that one before... for me the most important thing would be to connect with other students from the beginning and to pay attention to get all the important infos. Don't expect that you can skate like you did at school and be honest to yourself! Not neceserally to others but when you lie to yourself then you're lost. And try to enjoy your work, if you can't enjoy it at all after two or three semesters then do something else. Good luck Wink

For a lot of majors, 2-3 semesters is not really enough to tell if you will enjoy your career.  I think it's important to spend a lot of time reading about the jobs you can get with whatever degree you pursue.  You should almost have a job in mind from the start.  If nothing sounds appealing and you aren't enjoying your coursework, gtfo.  If something does sound good, use your latter years to take relevant electives to make yourself look better.  Oh and watchout for jungle juice and dirty pussies.

I think it really depends on your degree... in my program you specialize during the masters program and you get an overview during the bachelor. So an other good advice is to read and try to understand the goddamn study regulations so you know exactly what you need to supply.

@sweatercuff  hahaha nice one

I am done with school and now have my Bachelor of Science in Nursing!?  Fucking stoked!

CONGRATS, that shits tough.?  Good job going the Bachelor route, instead of the lesser nursing 'degrees'.

Thanks, man!  I worked my ass off for this.
Congratulations man! That;s awesome.

That really is fantastic.  Well done.

I highly recommend consuming psychadelic compounds and then engaging the foreign exchange students in your dorm in conversation whilst in the full grip of the effects.

And if they're attractive make sure they eventually have a full grip of your effects if you know what I mean  Wink
But seriously, don't skip too many classes, actually show up and do something in them. The partying is for after they're done for the day

No. I'm 28 years old and going to community college in my home town. Education is education. Learn your shit, work hard and go where you want to go.

I had an above average. I went and bought a camera and some film. Went nuts and took a bunch of pictures and had them developed. Then I learned feebles over the spine and stuck some 360 flips. And to top it all off a bunch of stuff I ordered came early. Frick yeah

No way man not at all. Especially if you're commuting and saving a shit load of money. I remember always regretting that one fact of going out of state. Loved college, hated paying off my loans.

I skated for the first time in 2 years yesterday. I landed a heelflip within the first two-three tries and it felt awesome to ride one around again. I will be buying a board here with in the next few days for sure. I skated every day from 7th-12th grade and just kind of stopped when all of my friends dropped out and joined the military, then next thing I know I'm in school and just never got back into it. I missed it.

I think I received a termination check from my old 401k from my old job, 556 bucks. Going to call my stepmom tomorrow to confirm, then put that son of a bitch in the bank.
