I enjoyed waterlogging and filthying up my board beyond recognition.  I hadn't skated in almost a week and the forecast contains no sun, so I went out anyway.  Ollied a 4 stair into a puddle then found a sheltered yet gross area in a parkade.  Some dude parked far from me, got out and stared at me awhile, then got back in and parked further.  On my way home some drunk dude leaving the bowling alley talked to me about winning a slalom trophy for skating back in '76.  It was a weird sesh but felt way more "real" than one at the skatepark.

Went to the skatebox again which is always fun.

Everyone was killing it, me and a friend had been trying different tricks for a while, then landed them both at the same time. super stoke!

Promised I would lay off the posting, but I just saw the Bones Brigade documentary and was blown away.  Thanks for that!  I love shred-sledding and I always will... That movie reminded me why.

Aside from that, Rodney Mullen is an awesome human being.

Skated until my board broke in the middle. It wasn't fully broken in the middle, just sagging so I ended doing a bunch of caveman boardslides until I finally finished it off.

Climbing up this backside curved wall down a little hill. Wanted to skate that spots for so long, and finally took a little piece of it.
It's pretty steeps, i'd say like a 100 degree angle, so not quite a straight wall, but still steep-steep-steep. I think i got up the wall to about head height....maybe two metres. So dope. Such a fun thing to do.

Was at the park and saw this 13 year old kid that I see there from time to time. A year or two back he had just started skating and was just learning how to 5050 curbs and learning flatground kickflips. This was my first time seeing him at the park in a good year or so and he did a hurricane on the ledge first try, switch ollied the 8 stair, varial heeled the pyramid, and did a bunch of other gnarly stuff. It blew my mind how much he progressed in such little time. I was stoked for him, but at the same time it kinda bummed me out. Seeing a little kid get just as good as me in such a short period of time is kinda disheartening.

But then after that I played some friends in SKATE and landed everything first try and got a few tricks back that I had lost a month before, such a good feeling. Had fun, landed everything clean, playfully talked shit back and forth with my friends as we were playing, fed off each others energy.... it all reminded me of why I love skating so much in the first place.

Speed games

>fastest slide/grind
>fastest wallie
>fastest nollie 180

This shit is seriously fun, gonna go full pelt more often. If you land it you feel awesome and if you dont... you have a long ass slide a-cumin. and except for the grazes that shits fun too

I was skating for a few years before I even attempted any backside grinds on a curb/ledge. Shit just felt weird to me. I got pretty good at a lot of BS grind tricks for a bit, but then i stopped doing them for a while and now I completely lost all of them. One of these days when im feelin it im gonna dedicate a whole session to relearning all of my BS tricks.

On the bank to wallride at our local park I got backside wallride  back 270's out, then our local hot mama's at
the skatepark sat down in their sun dresses. I casually walked into the bathroom and started wanking it while
looking at them from the window.

i really never understood the fact of people getting down cause of someone younger progressing faster...no point in getting bummed..some people progress in certain things faster/better than other..

i have good friend who skated for 3-4 years.. was soo good (youtube Mario Matabele)..got flow from a few companies but after a while got bored with skating and stopped..quit all his sponsors and moved onto racing motorcycles.. some people are good at certain things while some people actually just like things  like skateboarding..ive been doing it for over 10 years and honestly suck compared to most dudes that have been skating as long as i have. but do i care? nope. because i love skateboarding and ill keep doing it til i physically cannot.

Left the house at 12 to skate and didn't come back until around 10 at night. I ended up learned wallies and after learning them I pretty much just did that trick over and over for the rest of the day.Wallies are fun as fuck. As soon as I landed one I would go back and just keep doing it. I've been wanting that trick for a long time and suddenly I realized how easy they are.  I can't wait to go do some tomorrow.

same here. fresh pair of Old Skools, new Magenta deck and PFC wheels, and a nice red curb down the street from my house.

I was warming up. I got some speed and popped a lazy ollie, the board kinda got away from me and I landed primo. I had a nice little tumble and scraped my arm a little.

Got a handful of shinners today. Snakebites, too.

Oh, and on the way to work the other day, I rode over a little pothole and my wheel got caught. I probably took a step and then went right to the ground, landing hard on my knee. Today, when I was skating, the wound on my knee was still tender. So, whenever I did a trick, my jeans rubbed against it and it was very uncomfortable.
