Never really ever got into Spanky's skating, but I watched his Stay Gold part tonight, and all of a sudden it made sense.

Brent Atchley has been unmatched for years, and when he joined tribute again I was pretty stoked to see him with Chin, another personal fave, but now... there's something about the way he skates, dresses, everything... dunno, don't like it. his elementality part is still hands down awesome, but I can't really tell anymore he's my fave, and Nordberg puts too many flips for me.

Hence, I've been thinking about ppl who dont skate "as hard" as they used to, so Barker Barrett, Ethan Fowler (visual sound), Dan Drehobl. Not saying they suck now, but don't tell me Ethan still skates like he did in visual sound. The battle between Barrett and cancer-Dan for the "to-fakie" king is a never-ending story.

If it has to be a current ripper, I'm either giving it to Tony Miorana or Brad Mcclain. Probably T-Mo, although Mcclain may shred harder.

This may not make much sense, but I'm sleepy as hell and have fapped way too much today.

Reynolds/Herman combo is so hot right now

Wes Kremer is doing big things

Brandon Westgate is doing bigger things

Daewon keeps going. Haslam will come out with something sick too

PJ Ladd will never not be good. Same with PROD

Leo keeps it tight

I feel weird saying it, but Sheckler puts out great footage

Austin Gilette is doing big things too

I gotta stop here or else it will go on forever.

Watched his New Shoe part today, his skating is so good.  Speed + style + pop, he flows so much.

Evan Smith for sure.  Maybe after I watch his Element part a hundred times I'll tire of him, but right now I can't think of anyone with a better mix of style, skill and originality.

Do we really need to see GT skate another skatepark or Reynolds do another fs flip?  I know I don't.

Pontus Alv,

Fuck yes. I've been thinking a lot about this lately, trying to narrow down a list of 5 pros and 5 ams. It's pretty hard.

Pros: Pontus, Lucas Puig, Dylan, Jake Johnson, Austyn Gillette, Daewon (I know it's 6. And mentions to Wes Kramer and DMODW)
Ams: Peabody, Austin Kanfoush, Brad Cromer, Evan Smith, I really like Terpening's footy in the AWS section of TWS's new video and his eS part.

Gou Miyagi.  I can't believe I haven't watched any of his skating until tonight.  He reminds me of Louie Barletta mixed with Mark Gonzales.
