Pedophiles and child molesters, especially ones that have very public scandals like Sandusky, will often getting killed in prison after getting the shit kicked out of them.

Edit: From the 5 minutes of research I've done on this topic, I'm actually finding conflicting reports of pedophiles being killed more often in crime being accurate.

Pedophiles don't get beat up or picked on in prison - that a complete myth. Prisoners don't give a fuck about why someone else is in jail, they just care about stupid racial lines and alliances and waiting to kick the shit out of people who don't follow their rules.

That being said, most pedophiles are effeminate weirdos who are easy targets for rape, but nothing to do with what their crime is.
