The best advice is unless you can do them on highish ledges like Ishod Wair then don't bother, they just look silly.

thats a stupid comment, you gotta start somewhere. just set your feet up like your grinding a crook and just push it in.

Learn wallride nollie outs first. I am sure someone you know can teach you those.

Get good at slappy noseslides on medium height ledges. Get ok at wallrides, wallies, variations. Get comfortable riding into crooks from the top of a curb. Get used to riding into crooks on tranny. I could do those things good and slappy crooks came kinda easy.

don't let the trolls shake you up.
i always like these kind of threads and have started a few myself. they get me hyped to try the tricks. i think the advice about learning to roll onto them from the top sounds solid. i've learned that on trany but never tried it on a ledge.

After watching this I'll eat my words about slappy crooked grinds only looking good on ledges (not curbs), this clip is sick as fuck.

if it helps, doing them on higher ledges is more like a wallride nollie out. on curbs and stuff you pretty much set up like a crook and run into the thing (and point your front toes down ?). they're frustrating at first but keep at it, i think they're one of the funnest tricks.
