Cool vid... it does make it seem like you can just "skate" around LA though.  Start in Venice... skate to the Hollywood Bowl.... then skate to downtown.

haha I noticed that too... not too likely.

Walking out of my door in dtla and skating around the city is one of my favorite things though and I'm going to do it this afternoon listening to the doors.

Here's how skateboarding has changed in the last 10 years:

10 years ago Rick McCrank shows up to the parking lot at 1:51 to film a 50-50 on the hubba in the background.

Now: Kenny Anderson and Braydon show up to that same parking lot to get filmed being towed behind by Robby Krieger's Camero.

Aaaaahhhh how times have changed

its the 2012 film clip to LA Women, its uploaded to the The Doors youtube channel, so the answer is no the filmers/editers dont skate

i moved from australia to la for a summer when i was 16 and the main motivator was venice beach. hosoi, natas and jeff hartsel had me so hyped on that place. i turn 40 at the end of this summer and it's kind of awesome to see that venice is still well represented in skating.
