I fall asleep to Eastern Exposure 3 on a regular basis. Did I say "fall asleep"? I meant "pass out".
Funny. While pretty good, those are the most overrated videos ever.
Silly boy, you must have forgotten about this part, which alone makes it one of the greatest videos of all time:
Ricky - EE3
It's cliche to post it for a reason too. Anybody with a brain knows its amazing.
Didn't say it was bad, definitely full of ripping. I just think the East Coast self gloss is annoying. The way people talk about EE3, you'd think they were talking about Video Days. It was good to see some fresh spots and dudes. But at the end of the day, its the singer not the song. I'd rather watch Gino and Keenan at Lockwood rather than Ricky O and Matt R at Love. Sorry.

YOU FUCKING IDIOT. Did you seriously just point to Keenan and Gino for why you prefer the west coast to the east? Where do you think both of those guys were from? HAHAHAHA.
Also, if you think Ricky, Matt, Serge and that whole crew spent even a quarter of their time at LOVE you don't really get it. I'm not even going to explain how stupid you are for calling out lockwood as if it were any different than every other blown out LA schoolyard in the 90's aside from the social scene surrounding it. If you want to name drop the interesting 90's west coast tech scene without knowing what the fuck you are talking about, next time its "Carroll and Sanchez at EMB."
Yes, east coast self gloss is annoying, but EE3 is pretty much on the same level as Video Days in terms of it significance in the skate scene. Before Eastern Exposure there was no East Coast, there was California as 98% of skate media, and the rest of the world (including the east coast) as the other 2%. After EE3 it was clear that the east coast had a legitimate and unique scene.
Anyway, hopefully you and other posters can see why your posts and criticisms of Eastern Exposure are incredibly stupid, and everybody, including you, should realize your terrible uninformed opinions aren't worth reading on this board.

I really like how Gipper lashes out at people who think EE3 and east coast skating are overrated, AND at people who say NYC skating is harder than everywhere else. Militantly middle-of-the-road.

I think he was mainly illustrating the idiocy of the guy trying to make his point by discussing the skating of one kid from Atlanta, Georgia and the other from New Jersey skating Lockwood Avenue Elementary School in Los Angeles, CA.
Would he think the "East Coast self gloss is annoying" if he was watching his fave skaters skating where they actually grew up and learned to skate?
LMFAO.

Kinda like your aggressive diplomatic persona?
East coast skating is good, and EE3 is amazing, but anybody claiming the East Coast has some special spot difficulty is a fucking idiot.
I appreciate east coast skating for its perspective and approach, not its difficulty.
Let me break it down for you in caveman talk
EE3 good, East coast ego bad.
And yes, the comical thing, and the key thing I was replying to is the idea that he chose Keenan and Gino, who are definitely from the east coast, were his examples of great west coast heads. He just came off as comically ignorant.
I was always under the impression Gino was Long Island and that Keenan lived 100 blocks north of Huf on 125th in NYC (according to his RIP section in Yeah Right!).

Calm down caps. I guess you're missing my point then. I know where exactly where they are from. I would rather watch those East Coast guys skate Lockwood, than the 'Ricky Cult' ollieing manhole covers, playing Frogger in between cars, and taking the same ollie over 30 different wheelchair ramps. All the while, beating their chests about how great they are. I like the video. I like those skaters. It was fresh for a min. It ain't Video Days. Not even close. You east coasters sure are sensitive about whatever strip of land your Mom happened to shit you out on.

Why is the footage any better because of where the skater grew up? I live in Ohio. It's great to see Ohio spots. It's cool to see Ohio skaters or my friends in a video. But really, should anyone really give one fuck about that information? Would be annoying to you if certain skaters from Ohio whined about 'respect' and how hard the winters are? EE3 is pretty sick, it just didn't change my life.

I live in LA moron. I've never lived on the East Coast.
Lockwood footage was boring ass generic LA school yard footage. Nothing could be more boring. The only thing that made that spot cool was the people who hung out there.

Isn't Jerry from San Jose? I love East coast, West coast and everything in between. Jim Greco's part in Baker2G is full of so much energy, but I managed to pass out after that. I've got to keep my VHS collection from getting dusty, bro.

You know what? You're right. What a complete fucking idiot I am to use a skater from the west coast as my example for why I like the east coast. Posting somebody from the opposite coast to show which coast you prefer is something only a complete moron would do.

I'm a moron for not being able to quote properly, hence the RED. Can't argue there.
I appreciate the humbling. Haven't been owned like that I last entered my ATM code in wrong. (ask a pal if that makes no sense either)
