Dyrderk doesn't own Young and Reckless, does he?

No, but I think their beef is with MTV using the motif in Fantasy Factory as a promotional tool.

Dyrdek still shouldn't be involved, the should be on Drama's back

I'm sure Drama's financial situation qualifies him as, in business law terms, 'Judgement proof'.  Rob and MTV however would be called 'Deep Pockets'.  The Angels are just followig the money.  I guess they consider this a fundraising 'event'...

Last year i was working the shop alone and some random old guy comes in, with in a few minutes he sees a DVS baseball shirt and on the back has a rip off of the Hells Angles logo and he just starts in on me on how dangerous it is to have this at the shop and how someone could be beaten up or worse. He took off soon after after a few more choice words....about a week later a suit guy walked in and bought all 4 shirts from us, joking i asked why he bought all of them he said he was a lawyer for the Hells Angles and he was sending these down to head office, going to get a cease and desist order or sue them. All in all fucking eye opening to what that crest represents.

That typo (or your lack of comprehension) was so distracting...

However, I would have never guessed these things about the HA. Truly baffling

You can't end a sentence with an ellipsis. You can, however, shut the fuck up.

I think Thor is entitled to some of the proceeds given that he was the first one with the whole winged helmet idea.

I can appreciate why the Hell's Angels would be so protective and I am sure that they have their hands full given all the wannabe hard asses who probably try to fly the image.  On the other hand, Harley Davidson has been all about capitalizing on the whole biker deal and has completely sold themselves out to the point of being pathetic in my opinion.  They whore out their logo on fucking anything.  I shit my pants when I was at the eye doctor and I noticed a Harley Davidson line of prescription glasses, what in the sam fuck?

It's artwork that carries some symbolism that is meaningful to them so this isn't much different than the whole Target/Shaun White ripping off Michael Sieben drama.  It seems that close to a third of all new skateboard graphics these days are logo rip offs anyways.  Same deal, just capitalizing off an existing image.

Anti Hero knows what's up and have launched the first salvo into toppling Pfizer's domination of the burning anus empire...

Is Hells Angels even a legal corporation/group/business? What do they even list their revenue as?

per wikipedia:

Both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service classify the Angels as one of the "big four" (Hell's Angels, Pagans, Outlaws, and Bandidos) motorcycle gangs, contending that members carry out widespread violence, drug dealing, trafficking in stolen goods, and extortion.[8][9] Members of the organization have continuously asserted that they are only a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who have joined to ride motorcycles together, to organize social events such as group road trips, fundraisers, parties, and motorcycle rallies

hahhahahaha.

This is not the first time I've seen banditos spelled wrong, it's like krew to me, not El Once enough without Muska.

I used to work at a motorcycle shop and the Bandidos were regulars. They always got a discount with their red and gold card.

El Presidente was always cool to me though. Gave me shit for riding a bicycle to a motorcycle shop everyday.

Dyrdek and/or the F.F. producers must have successfully evaded pressure to being extorted in order for the Angel's to turn to legal action.  That's usually the stat quo.

I can see why they wouldn't try to extort Saks Fifth Ave., but as a self proclaimed "pile" in the past, you'd think trying to extort Dyrdek would be seen as fair game for the Angels.

Hells Angels are a corporation.  They do not like you to fuck with their image.  REmember when REAL did that rip off graphic, and the actual burly biker Angel dudes came to delux and took everything?  I think they even demanded money too.

Totally amazing...

But, ya. Hells Angel's are probably seeing this a way way to make some easy and legit money. And hey, no matter how core you are or whatever. If you had the opportunity to sue MTV and make a shit-tonne of money of course you'd go ahead and do it.

This show has nothing to do with the Hell's Angels aside from the fact that it's about a motorcycle gang. No where is it implied that the gang in this show is meant to represent them, nor does the show infringe on the copyright of their logo. I'm sure they hate the people who walk around with t-shirts from the show that act like they're hard or in an MC, but there's nothing more they can do about that than they can do about dentists riding around on Harley's.
