i thought dyrdek owned silver?

kalis would suit venture...........

from what i see jerry hsu is the only ROYAL rider to not use the trucks. kremer, mariano, carroll, gillet, angel etc are always rock'n em.

silvers have always been bad from what i hear, though we did sell a good few pairs in the shop i work in and have had no complaints

i bought a pair about 6 years ago or more, whenver theyfirst came out with the axle protection screws and everything, they broked straight across the bit of the hanger that goes into the pivot cup, on a simple trick on flat, after having them for a week or less.
got them replaced by a pair of thunders free of charge and never looked back
i trust thunders and always have

^^^I like how Wes said he split the hanger on his last pair of trucks, pretty much reinforcing the claim most people make that Royals suck.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure all the Theeve dudes ride Theeve; they all seem pretty stoked on the trucks.
I've seen J-Lay ride indy's a shitload of times since he's gotten on to Theeve.
Also, when Raybourn was riding for theeve he'd be seen riding Indy's all the time, which is probably why he made the switch.

Ace trucks are just exact replicas of indy stage eights. the dude that started ace worked for indy and split with the design to start it up.

You guys are so wrapped up in the first batch of trucks that came out with the wrong sized pivot. Yeah they broke... 5 years ago.

Since then.. they have made huge improvements. The M Class is actually really good.

Truthfully... once all the truck companies started getting mass produced.. they all kinda went to shit. I rode Ventures for mad long... before i rode for Thunder and then Orion. When i went back to Ventures after Orion.. they were completely different. It took me a few pairs to pick the two trucks that were drilled straight.

Paul quit because they cut his pay, Dyrdek quit because he is a distribution owner and didn't want to be apart of a different distribution. Im not quitting because im used to the trucks, they are pretty good, the height isn't as high as an Indy.. but not as low as a Venture. Its perfect for where i want to be. They have a real fun park down the street from my house... The TM is mad cool... the team is a lot of fun to skate with... and they pay more than any other truck company out there.

So you guys think i should quit because i would fit Venture? Nah... Ventures are good trucks... and they have a great history... but im trying to be apart of something to help build.. not step into something that is already built. I can't do much for them..and visa versa. They are already very established.

Silver is dope.....Its a cool group of people that make it all happen.

What the? Paul left because of a pay cut? I mean was it that big? I know money is money but I'd think a truck paycheck wouldn't even be that big of a deal compared to Target and Nike.

i had a pair of silvers. they didn't turn worth shit. you could loosen em till the nut was gonna come off.. the radius was really really bad. good i guess if you just gonna go in straight lines. can't comment on the quality cause they didn't turn. thats what trucks are suppose to do. turn.. and be responsive. probably good for people who like to do manual tricks i would imagine.

It's funny. Didn't Kalis also say Silver paid more than any other truck company?

How much can a truck company pay you? Doesnt Indy or Thunder have like 60 guys, only in the US team? I cant imagine them paying more than probably 100-200 bucks a month to most of them. And Im pretty sure that P-Rod is far beyond the need of that money.

That's true with big the big truck companies.... But dude made more money on trucks than a Sargent on the police force. Sometimes payouts have to be given... If dude didn't want to ride the wave.. Can't knock him for that.

I don't get paid "that" much.... If I got paid what he got cut down to.... I'd be stoked!! Shit... I'm stoked where I'm at. Like I said... It's fun to be apart of the Building process.

The trucks are decent... And the money goes back to the riders so they can buy cars, blunts, Mot. Or whatever. Lol. I'm stoked on it.

Damn...so P-Rod got about 70k or so to ride Silver trucks? Even if he got a paycut to 50k, I can't imagine Venture giving him that amount or anywhere close. Damn, so just Silver and Plan B alone is well over 100k. Dude must be cakin' tons of money with the rest of the sponsors he has.

Lol.

Just imagine P-Rod opening a package full of $20 gift cards every month.

I would like to know the finer details of that sponsorship agreement.

I wonder if he is just getting cake, or if discounts are also part of the plan.

hey kalis just out of curiosity, what was the deal with the first batch of silver's that came out when the company started??
I bought a pair and like i said they did break very quickly, im not butt-hurt over it at all, as they were replaced free of charge, but i just never found out what caused them to break or what was wrong with the first lot?
ps i bought them as i wanted to support something new at the time and liked the idea of the axl nuts not getting too fucked Smiley

Used a pair o Class M 7.75 when they came out with Bones Bushings.... Can't complain at all... I remember reading somewhere that Silver is the 4th best selling truck company in the states followed by Krux I guess.

Is Maxwell still the TM??? You gotta love that fool!
