Forrest's part was great.  It was full of bangers.  Some hubba I never seen he switch tail slid.  That stood out.  All in all I'm real bummed on the lack of lines these days in parts.  Its so nice to see skaters you appreciate having a few good lines in their part.

Read my post shouldn't. I'm not bitching about downloading it, I'm bitching about assholes calling out the dude who made the video and talking shit to him, over a 10 dollar video. I buy tons of videos but definately am gonna download it first if I don't know much about who made it/how good it is. I'm not gonna talk shit on a video I haven't seen and ridicule an independent filmer/editor on here.

These threads are just stupid anyways, they are just lame/lazy. There's been multiple people posting in this thread(as with all other PM heavy threads) who have talked about owning it or having a link. Instead of just posting blindly asking for a link, just pm the person who already has it, ask nicely and it works almost every time. I'm sure many people do this already but just use your head a little.

The link I got it from was taken down, so tuff shit this time.

It wasn't THAT good...He had like 2 lines in it...Its not mindblowing like Dylan's Gravis part or something...Money Mike, Squirrel, and Richie Amador's were the best like I said before...Just buy the fuckin video...Its worth the 40 quarters...

Nah fuck the both of you and this dude who thinks hes going to make money off an independent video.  Whats ten bucks?  A 12 pack, or a solid ass meal.  I would probably not even watch this video in full one time and im going to spend money on it?  Kids are going to keep making independent videos weather or not we buy them, so this has nothing to do with independent skating.  Im sure this kid did everything just so he can make a buck at the end of it all.   These filmers have had like 5 years warning at least that independent vids dont make money.

this must be your first video if you think youre going to be making money off of it, or even breaking even. if youre still making videos on your own in 2012, its for the love and not for profit. you need to face it that youre gonna lose $2000-$3000 on this and that most of your friends probably arent going to pitch in. most people are just going to wait a week or two until youre not lurking this thread 24/7 and getting links taken down.

Also how do you know the filmers intentions were to break even or make money? Just trying to recoup as many expenses as possible is more probable to believe.might as well try.

honestly, i was kind of considering buying the video, because my paycheck just came in.  but after reading this bullshit, i will definitely not buy it, ever.  you guys are putting the "fun" back into skating?  with handrail skating?  you're what skating needed?  do you think josh stewart had ever broken even on any of the static videos?  no way.  he's tons in debt, and still making videos.  get over yourself, no one makes money off of this shit, you knew what you were getting into.

To be honest, as much as I want to support whoever made the video, I'm a cheap ass, so i'll probably wait till I get my chance to see Forrest's part.  I am a little surprised that the maker of the video is getting shit though.  I dunno, apart from the ridiculous fines for downloading copyrighted media, I never fully understood the argument internet pirates had against content creators that felt they were owed something.  It'd be nice if everyone was lenient about how their content get's distributed, but at the end of the day, it's their content, who am I to say how they should feel about it?  I'm not going to sugarcoat it...even though I know I'm "stealing," I'm don't really give a shit because I'm not a very good person   Tongue

personal experiences. im sure youre right about those az videos making money, but i dunno about vhs tape. people buy even less skate dvds in the east. i dont think the past two statics even made any money.
how do i know his intention is to break even/make money? the dude is axing all the youtube links and asking $10 when most people here only want to see the one part.
you can either waste a lot of time making sure your video stays off the internet in an attempt to recoup expenses. you can also say fuck it, get some hard-earned/desperately needed relaxation and be psyched that you made a video you and your friends can watch for the rest of your lives.
