Just a change of pace.

Lay off your bed so your hair is down and body is down and then take a comb and graze the area you want to part your hair and then fold over your hair to your liking, this works best when wet. If that doesn't work, your hair is resilient and you should probably go somewhere.
I am also not sure if this will work at all.
I'll try it tonight. Thanks boobies

It's hard to break a natural part, especially if you have a cowlick at all.  I have a pretty crisp side part going on, but my hair is also cut that way (slightly shorter on the side with the part so it's more conformed to my head).  To get it to stay looking sharp, I take a very small amount of Murrays, after I towel dry my hair and run it through.  Slick my hair back with a comb.  Then I take a good dab of Brylcreem and slick that in as well.  As soon as my hair is slicked back, I just part it.  Done, and looking sharp all day.  It probably takes about 3 minutes after I dry my hair.

I'll try that, HATE. thanks for the tip, man! It really helped.

Am I the only one that does this?  Shave head, grow it out long naturally, shave it again, repeat?

I did that a couple times before realizing that I have head that needs to be covered up with hair.

Murray's is good stuff but not water soluble.  This is good for keeping your shit locked down while you're skating/sweating but you need to use dish soap or my preference is to use a degreaser like Fast Orange to get it out.  Try Brylcreem first and see if that works, most drug stores like Walgreens carry it and it washes out easy.  Either Murray's or Brylcreem is dirt cheap compared to all the other fancy men's grooming products out there and they both work.  You can save up your money for some Polo Sport.

If you go with Murray's then their Superlight is the way to go for straight hair, it smells good and isn't as clumpy as the classic but it's a little harder to find.

One warning on the Murray's.  My sink started draining real slow so I pulled the sink trap and stopper and there was a black sludge built up from the stopper all the way down through the sink trap bend.  Unless somebody has been shitting in my sink without my knowledge I am pretty sure it was a build up of Murray's from washing my hands.  It's no joke that the shit isn't water soluble, I'd be comfortable greasing the driveshaft on my truck with it.

How much do you use?  I use about the size of a dime, maybe a little less.  It's just to tame my shit, the Brylcreem afterward is to make it look how I want.

Usually go from this

To this

And repeat over 7 months or so

However, everytime I try and arrange my hair when its long, I always think it looks like this

When in reality, it probably looks more like this

I am about the same.  Since it doesn't really wash out you can get away with less and less until you degrease it again.

$40 investment, free haircuts for life.

word.  granted if i grew my hair it (what is left) would suck.   but i'm so stoaked not to waste any more time and money getting haircuts.  seriously, the price of 2 haircuts pays for a pair of clippers

Hahaha!  Man, I don't think anyone has ever asked me for hair/fashion tips.  I have really dark hair and I wear a lot of hats, so I don't seem to have many photos, but I got these two of the front and the parted side.

Your sister is really cute to me haha. By the way, looks like I need to let my hair grow out just a little bit more. I still have some hair that sticks out and fraying and what not even when I put hair product on.

the only haircut that works for my curly hair is the clippers, I've never really found a cut that works with scissors

youre supposed to put ladies tights on your head as you sleep with the part in your hair you want to train it i heard. i get a #2 from a mexican lady who tells me i need to pray and party more often, shes tight. i live in california too, so i used to have to tell her not to give me a fade or a gnarly line up before she started or else shed do it by default.

I harbor a massive amount of envy toward HATE's immaculate executive contour haircut. I've been looking for a real men's barbershop for awhile now and there's very little of those left.

I no longer want to get my hair cut by "cool moms"

DIY.

Since i noticed that i have thinning hair i do my hair with clippers no guard every six months. I should have bought one of those years before. Anyway I only liked my hair when i had a mohawk or the buzzed-shaved look.

HATE is a pair of highwaters away from joining Team Handsome.

Also, I kept getting my haircuts at the mall with hit-or-miss results. Went to a place in Boystown, Chicago where a gay guy cut it. It was the first time I looked at my hair and was genuinely psyched on it. Really though, getting your hair cut by a gay guy will change your life.

Had this exact haircut 6 months ago. Classic clipper cut. Don't skimp fellas it's worth the price if you got a dude or broad to make it work for you proper.

Anyway, great do. DUDE. Great sister too...durr...
