I know it's beating a dead horse, but these edits are so perfect.

Slap's original content is the best...

I hope this guy is getting paid for these.  Over the last few weeks he has released 1/4th of a full length video on here...

Full Ben Gore part,  please!

edit:

on the front page of Photos/videos right now there is 3 commercials with bullshit filler footage,  sean malto throwaway,  park footage etc...

It seems like there's rarely anything worthwhile on here anymore and often times the worthwhile clips are from SLAP.  So kudos SLAP and Ryan G. For putting this stuff out.  It actually falls in line with what slap meant as a mag in the first place.

I thought about this the other day, and I wrote something down on a piece of paper but I can't remember where I put it or what it said.

Kudos to you tuque.. and just know that I never set out to film for money. Inspiring people to skate and make videos is the greatest payment of all. Its always been about the love and having good times with great friends! and thanks money black! This just motivates me to make more stuff for you guys to watch.

Ryan, What kind of camera light do you use if you don't mind me asking. It looks really good in this and the map masquerade videos.

That's the one I used in the map masquerade videos.

But I recently upgraded to this one because the thing that connects the battery pack to the light (ACtoDC) usually breaks on the bescor.

I usually tape up any of the holes with black gaffers tape too so there is just a solid stream of light coming through the filter and barnyard doors..

I think it makes sense that passion for getting this type of skating seen (with proper filming too) would be the first priority but It must be hard to make ends meet in SF while still being able to gather this many clips. Also, do us all a favor and consider making a full length,  man.  I'm sure there's enough of us out there to shell out some money for it.

I do other things to depend on my funds. That way I don't have to stress on footage as my only income. Although it would be nice to be paid from filming alone so I could expand on the craft of filming skateboarding. It almost works better this way it's less pressure to conform and I can focus on my friends and people I am really interested in getting footage with. As for a full length, I'm busy helping on some other projects including the gx1000's but one day I am going to make a skate film. I'm just waiting for the right time in my life where I can focus on my project 100% .  I have a really strong vision of the video I just want to be able to have it all come together.

It'll be worth the wait.  Between your filming, the dudes you film and the music, it's like you know exactly what I need to get hyped.  Big fan.

For sure, one of the rare good things in these days.
What really stood out for me was the varial flip into the bank in the second edit, it fitted so well to the song.

Its a shame that youtube/vimeo etc. re-compresses SD footage so badly.

Keep doing your thing!

Thanks hate! means so much to have great support from all the slap regulars. Yo lurkdaddy CHILL playa! This is a message board for skateboarding. I believe the point of it is to share certain aspects and opinions of what you either really like or dislike in skateboarding. Its pretty dumb to tell someone to stop doing exactly what the boards where created for...
