I find it kind of funny that people just post RIP like your opinions actually matter, most of you don't even know the guy. Do you know how many people EVERY DAY die in car accidents I'm sure which a good part of are skateboarders, are you gonna RIP for every single one of those people if there was a thread about each and every one of them. I had the pleasure of going on a few trips with him and skating with him a good amount and always brought something to the table. He was a really solid dude, fucking killed it on a skateboard, always full speed ahead. After his skateboard career he went on to shoot some amazing photo's, respect to a fallen soldier.

Shit like this breaks my heart, sending good vibes to the family and friend.


Well since Jaya was a professional skateboard and as well a part of the skateboard community for many years random people have a connection, even if they never met him. Pros appreciate that connection very much.

What's rad is people can celebrate his life with the things that might have influenced them like a video part, photo or experience regardless of there personal inert actions. Don't try to shit on that it's just fucking stupid and disrespectful.

So fucking sad, great fucking skater and photographer!! RIP

Anyone got that photo of him grinding the flat rail off a ledge that is like two stories off the ground?? It is in SF, one of the gnarliest things every done on a skateboard!!

I was about 9 or 10 years old and skated for Sessions skate shop with this guy. He was a lot older so I didnt really know him but he killed it.  I have some old pics and footage of him somewhere.  RIP.  Hope he is ripping it up with Tim and Phil right now. 

I think if Thrasher is running a RIP piece then my guess is he passed away.

i skated his Adrenalin Board from 2002 with the camera graphic 3 times in a raw.
I really like his output skating wise, and Adrenalin with Jaya & Senn was just on of
the best companys ever...

i was watching his pictures and videoparts so often... there is an connection.
it touch me that he lost live and is gone

When I was like 12 one of my friends had a channel one board with a chick on it, these older kids (who were like 14) insisted that it was the kind of board where boobs would show through, and proceeded to shred away at it with a rock. There were no boobs to be seen. We were all disappointed that day.

Whoa, this sucks. That Adrenalin industry part was always a favorite. He was rad and it's a shame. Thoughts to his friends and family, RIP.
