About 7-8 years ago, I remember you got super mad at some BMXer at the Berkeley skate park for getting in your way and you literally yelled at him like he was a 5 year old and I think he was over 21 years old at the time. Do you just genuinely BMXers or do you always get mad like that when people are in your way?

And are you still getting shoes from Osiris?

not so much a question for Ron but would like to hear a veterans take on it.

Eventually we all grow out of keeping up with the teen idols of this world and some eventually find bliss in ignoring the industry as a whole. I know I did. Outside of local core brands can you give any reason why someone should support the "industry"?

You've ripped on a board for longer than alot of todays pros have been alive. With that in mind, do you think man ever did land on the moon?

Can you still get up on picnic tables from flat?  Whats the longest amount of time you stayed off your board?  What's it like to see where street skateboarding and skateboarding in general has gone in terms of progression? What about in terms of public acceptance?

How did the formation of Life skateboards come about?  What were your early memories and impressions of Sean Sheffey?

What are some tricks you haven't done, but still want to do?

What was it like street skating in Oakland in the 80s?

Ps....true story, the only two boards I've ever ridden in a row...Ron Allen's....two of your first hstreet boards, and two of your last creation boards....full circle....

Hey Ron,

You were one of the best streets skaters of your era, and one of the skaters that i used to be so stoked on as a kid, any H-Street video that came out you always had a solid part, you also came to Scotland for a demo at the church in Glasgow and graced the streets of a very rainy Aberdeen back in the early 90's.

But compared to some of the other "greats" you seem to have been a little over looked in the history books of skating, a lot of the younger generation have no idea who you are, but you put one footed ollies firmly on the map along with a million shove-it variations, do you think you deserved a little more coverage then you got or anything ?

Also any comment on the term "ollie north" i fucking hate it personally !

Ron years back at an H Street demo in Ohio a friend of mine ran into you and you broke your ankle, we made fun of him for years about it. My question is this, Sick Boys is one of my all time favorite videos, did you know at the time when it was being made the impact it would have on street skating? It was motivating to me and my friends who didn't have access to vert ramps to go out and street skate.

What do you call the one footer trick that you have to knee-bonk your board? I learned those because of you but never knew if it had a name.

i agree with the comment above that you're a bit overlooked in the history of skating.  you're an important part of it, and deserve more credit.  and, you were in your mid twenties by the time you went pro and so sort of were a harbinger for these longer careers we see these days.  that said, you didn't have much coverage after the late 90s.  is there any that might surface?

I live in the north of England, a fairly barren land in skateboarding terms, in the late 1980's H Street demo'd at a small skate shop in Carlisle, I some how managed to blag a lift there. I missed the demo by an hour. I was sad. But all was not entirely lost, the owner of the shop gave me an H Street t shirt signed by your good self and Mat Hensley. I was pleased! I wore the t shirt solidly for 2 years (it was the Hensley street sign graphic) till it dropped to pieces and my mam binned it,  not fully appreciating its true value.

In short, my question is: can you sign a t shirt for me?

Actually Ron. if you're signing shirts for your lost fan in the UK who witnessed you and Hensley killing it in the UK - count me in !!!

Seriously the entire H-Street team was so mellow i remember singing the "H-Street rap" with Ryan Monihan after him eating shit on the very ramp and him just laughing so hard and just joining in and giving me some stickers about an hour later as "he'd been looking for me " hahaha but you guys were all so mellow to us, as we asked a million questions and then did our best to copy every trick

Anyway, you and Hensley skated this super tight quarter pipe in the Church in Glasgow - i mean it was like a 3ft transition to vert thing, wall maybe, but you guys killed it, it was so hard to skate and i have vivid memories of a crazy session going down as you and Hensley and most of Scotland killed that wee crazy quarter thing - there maybe footage in Hocus Pocus

Sorry my rambling point is - WHERE THE HELL IS ALL THE FOOTAGE ?

Is T-MAG sitting on mad tapes - are we going to have "epicaly magnesiumed" when he releases his version of pre Rocco down to the D3 and beyond ?

H-Streets rule in the invention of Street skating has been entirely missed out of the chronicles of skateboarding so far

And you where one of the founders !

Do you still speak to any of the old team ?
