I was following Cassanova on Twitter and that shit was funny for a while, but he's so out of his gourd that it's just sad and depressing now. His twitter sermons are so misguided I feel bad for the kids that eat that shit up.

That was pretty interesting, but his definition of the word selfish is completely wrong. Working really hard to give to people?? Or wait, working so hard so your bucket NATURALLY over flows and spills out to other people? Fucking idiot. Not believing in natural talent is absolutely stupid. He is basically saying not believing in nature...nature/natural. Natural things happen in nature, like water spilling out of an overflown bucket. Or spiders spinning a web...He is the biggest hypocrite I have ever heard in my life. Jereme you are natural hypocrite, and you are good at it, so that is a talent, your natural talent. Dumbass

Jereme Rogers is an idiot and an asshole. I feel sorry for anybody who takes his advice seriously. You realize this interview was with a guy who was essentially on top of the skate world, decided he was going to quit to become a rapper, failed at that, and now has come crawling back to be part of a joke company that is likely to fail after nobody seemed to want him back. What's his shoe sponsor situation again? What about clothes? Wheels? Anything? Oh, that's right, this kid is such a joke now that nobody wants to touch him with a 50 foot pole. He makes TERRIBLE life decisions, but completely deludes himself into thinking he is a superstar. 100% of the draw of this kid is the fact that he's an egotistical trainwreck. If you feel inspired to follow his advice, think about how well it has worked for him, then punch yourself in the face for being stupid.

Oh, and Jereme, the word is self-interested, not selfish, selfish implies that you care about yourself to the expense of others, where as self-interested means you take actions because of their potential benefit to you. Also, its demand that creates jobs and all that bullshit you credit Donald with. Selfishness is what keeps those wages low and those workers in poverty.

And yes, anybody who has ever skated with a group of friends realized some just picked things up faster than others. Nothing wrong with that, but the idea that natural talent doesn't exist is silly. Jereme Rogers is actually a lot more like Kenny Powers than Brian Wenning. The way I see it, selfish is the equivalent of KP selling memorobilia out of the back of his van on his journey to realizing he isn't totally awesome.
