Singapore wants to increase it's population. So everybody* is encouraged to get it on and make a baby August 9th, their National Day.

(*married couples with enough financial means)

Does an island of 5 million really need to increase its population.

The video has some pretty funny lyrics, but the whole concept seems fucked up to me. Oh yeah, brought to you by Mentos.

My guess is that they probably have an aging population and are concerned about the absence of a future workforce/tax base to pay into social programs to support them as the disproportionately large population of seniors leave the workforce.

And the way to do that is a Mentos-sponsored rap song about sex as a civic duty.

I feel I should make some sort of JFK-related joke here.

They're not American. They are US educated and have cheesy generic MC voices.
