this is emerica was a whole different kind of spanky. the dude was blasting back 180 over 14 stair rails(the hard way) when he was a kid. his baker 3 part is amazing, i dont know how you could write this dude off if youve seen either of those. what he lacks in tech he farrr makes up for by being super original. he mite not go big anymore but he is on some mark gonzalez shit for real, his next part will be better than stay gold im sure..

You've got to be fucking kidding me. Spanky took skateboarding seriously for a few years at most, Mark Gonzales as annoying as he is these days was and innovator to street skating and pushed himself for 20 years before slowing down. Spanky not going big has nothing to do with it, the dude looks like shit on a board, Mark Gonzales looks like he's made to be on a skateboard. The weird part is that Spanky's style seems to be getting progessively worse...which can mean a few things, he doesn't skate that much, he's on drugs or both.

Sure his TIS part was sick and his Baker 3 part was pretty good too, but that was 2003 & 2005....

dude has dealt with some serious knee injuries if i remember correctly and that shit is not a joke (tore my acl two years ago)

Spanky is rad, I like watching him skate different stuff. Everyone on Baker just jumps down stuff, not that that's a bad thing, but it's nice to see some different shit in their videos.

I didn't really read through this thread but have a tidbit of knowledge to fill you guys in on regarding this. I was at Lincoln Park the day Reynolds was filming that 5X5 and Cyril was there killing it before they got there. Everyone kind of sat around while the Baker guys were filming then they started skating the big gap there and Cyril joined in - he did the gnarliest, fastest, most popped back 360 down that thing then him and Slash made a bet for 20 bucks or some shit on him doing it 3 times in a row. Now, I honestly don't know this for certain but I feel like that's the day that resulted in him getting hooked up with Baker.
