It's a bummer when the VX1 footy has to get cropped down cause of the HD footy, but that's my only complaint. Max Taylor is such a rad skater. Can't wait to see all the rest of these. Good work Roger!

that was soooo sick!  can't wait for the rest.  but the VX footage looks so bad cropped like this, i hope they'll release the VX footage as raw clips or something after so we can actually see what's happening.

Normally, I just read what you dudes have to say, but today I have decided to register and chime in.
VX cropped is terrible. I would rather see black bars on the side and all the skating. It's strange to me that someone editing a video would look at it and think "oh, this looks fine" when it obviously looks awful.
I will always prefer VX footage over HD, but I understand the dilemma that skateboard filmers and companies are facing.

As far as this Roger video is concerned, It's great. Max and Ryan both killed it. Can't wait to see what Nate Broussard has for us.

Great job Roger!

Both of those dudes killed it, but get the fuck out of here with that "part 1" bullshit. I was so stoked to watch a new Nate Broussard part today, and see new Tim and Eric footage.

That cropped footage is honestly one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.  I've seen plenty of people crop 16:9 footage to fit with 4:3 VX footage, but the other way around is just retarded. Lets take something that has less resolution... and make it have even less resolution.

Besides that gripe Max Taylor's part was gnarly.  Never heard of the dude, but the part was sick.

ryan's wallie back 5050 back 180 out at the white ledges downtown is insane. probably my favorite clip in his part.

max taylor killed it as always. definitely one of my favorite local skateboarders currently.

for those who haven't seen his other parts, get in the know:

That was sick!!!

But I also agree with these other dudes about the part 1 and 2 bullshit and the vx cropping. I too would rather just see black bars on the side.

For future reference, if you just copy and paste the url like you would for youtube videos, it automatically embeds. Same thing applies to SLAP videos too.

i love that the majority of the footage was from within skating distance of no comply. feels like an austin video.
obviously all good skating but the polejam to 50 at acc stuck out. the spot is fucked.
hard to complain about free internet stuff. especially roger's first video.

Really liked a lot of those lines from Max Taylor. Can't wait for the rest, I'll get a hardcopy for sure if they do release one.

There are secondhand stoke decks that come packaged with the full dvd. Dropping after the Austin premier tomorrow night so get a roger board and don't have to wait for the other sections.
I actually didn't care that it was only 2 parts, they were the 2 parts I was looking forward to most. The rest will be insane. If I had a gripe it isn't the cropping, I wish they showed slightly more run-up and roll away. Really quick cuts sometimes make it hard for my slow brain to fully process all the tricks but fuck, it was still great.  Hopefully it will get the Roger team and the company more wide-spread recognition and respect. I'm still backing a Holloway pro model.
