The aesthetic of their b roll is always so on point. I always wonder if there’s some clear influence or if they came up with the characters, look and feel, etc.. kind of reminds me of a budget 80s heavy metal music video.

wow. so much good stuff. Kevin Braun, Aaron goure, Dave Engerer, Jon Pierce. this crew has the best characters, and always sets the bar so high with their skating. had me yelling at the screen at several points.

this was amazing.... music and vibe on point as always. rick clark made rail skating look insanely good. that first dudes bigspins wow. dave engererererererr annoyingly looks like he's skating switch stance all the time.

One of the best things in skateboarding is a group of dudes who completely rip and are clearly all fun with one another. I feel like every Pyramid Country video embodies that to a T.

Has he been injured? First thing that came to my mind as I was watching that was he had kind of regressed? Still some gnarly tricks in there, but felt like he had made no progression from Boyish which was 8 years ago.
I'm a big fan of Jackson Casey, and have been since Friends With Benefits. But would love to see him doing something outside of these videos. Don't get me wrong, they are quality, but I can hardly tell the difference between all 7 Pyramid Country videos. (Yes that's right there's 7!) - Would love to see him get out of his comfort zone a little.

Yeah he was off the board for a year or so if I remember well. Funny story though, when Boyish came out, Jackson allowed me to post Jon's part on youtube, of course it went viral. Jamie Thomas saw it and put Jon on the am team or something. I received a few mails from Jon's father saying thank you and how psyched his son was to be a part of the Zero team :)
Anyway yeah, after he got on Zero he seriously injuried his ankle or knee I cant remember. He had some crutch for a lonnng time.. I don't know about him these days, but I hope he's okay cause he was a real killer!
What happened to Evan Okeson though? Does he even still skate? Used to love him!

jon had double ankle surgery and couldn’t skate for a few years. he’s been 100% for about 6 months now.
