i recall seeing a pops instagram post thanking dlxsf or jim t for a box with like ten sets of wheels
pops getting that many wheels...must be sitting on footage, or emails in the outbox
regardless, what is a box to you? your hooked up homie? the local hero? your favorite pro?
first, second, third hand experience or stories?
and of course- ANY AND ALL PICTURES OF BOXES ARE FAIR GAME PALS

Domestics sent me a box once: two shirts, a pair of pants, a beanie, a cap, and a ton of stickers.

I used to get “rep flow” while I worked at a shop. I got one or two pairs of shoes every other month or so. Also, we know each other! I’m deepernoah’s friend, we skated the warehouse in Philly. Hope you’re doing well!

my homies gets rep flow element boxes, 2 decks, 2 wheels, 2 shirts, 1 pants. other homie got a Firendship box of 4 decks. another homie gets 4-5 pairs of nikes in a box.

Gotta box for AYC. It was 7 shirts
Homie was vans flow, 3 pair shoes 2 shirts and some junk
Another friend was Nike 6.0 flow. A huge box full of stuff he’d never wear or want. Snowboard gear, bags, water bottles. I don’t remember how many shoes but it was insane.

For whatever reason I got a theeve box once
Had a pair of trucks, might’ve been two pairs. Some t shirts and a grip of stickers
And that’s a box for a nobody like me. I’d gather flow dudes and homie boxes are pretty filled. Maybe not with the best stuff but free is free

no companies really fuck with me and i don't blame them i fuckin suck ass at skating. so its basically whatever i order from amazon prime. the other day i ordered some special chapstick because i gotta herpe outbreak. small box arrived in two days, the sore is slowly healing.

Had a friend that was am for a small company back in the mid to late 90s... He told them what he wanted as far as amounts of hardgoods went. Remember seeing neat little untouched stacks of shirts and jeans in his room though too.

Got a box once with some boards and a corduroy hat with a piece of ducttape across the front with the company name written on it in pen. One of the only logos i was stoked to wear in a long time.

If I was getting flowed excessive stuff I'd be trying to put some away for the future. Try to avoid having to ever buy that item again

Board length rectangle, dude... As many as 10 or so, stuffed with whatever else can fit. Or your standard shipping box. Nothing so special. DNA had their branding allover, but nothing beyond practical shipping/Pizza box cardboard.

boards only last so long. trucks, wheels, bearings, clothes and shoes(to an extent) would be good though.
Vans are pretty generous to flow riders but once again he couldn't get the colours he wanted, he could go to a Vans store and exchange them though.
was that something they let him do or did he have to claim he bought them from the store? i've heard about shops doing trades for sponsored people, but it seems like theyd be getting stuck with the less desirable product most of the time.
vans(canada) was really generous in my experience. when i was interning at a mag i emailed someone there to try to mooch some shoes. they asked what color i wanted so i gave them my first and second choices and they ended up sending both. they also had/have an ordering system called Pro Form(?)where you'd get the same prices a shop would minus 20%. i definitely abused that when i had the chance

Got a thank you box from supra once couple of shirts, a tonne of stickers, pair of running shoes and a pair of lizards shoe. That was for doing next to nothing.
We used to get a big Nike box when I worked in a skate shop everyone once in awhile. Also used to get to raid the reps sample bag. Carhartt WIP would hook up uniform too.
Got a great Adio box when I was younger though two pairs of shoes 5 Tshirts a coach jacket a rad amount of stickers a hoody basically overflowing.

i got a box of 5 x 8.5 stereo boards once, and a pair of wide fuckin theeves that were way to big!
they wanted me to film some stuff and see where it went from there.
sacked the theeves of, kept my thunders on, and because of that, never saw anymore stereo product again

Ordering boards from the manufacturer is fun, they got their logos all over it and it comes with stickers, it makes me feel like I'm sponsored. I pose with it in front of the mirror and pretend I just went pro for Street League.

I like to use a pair of trousers which have a lot more room in them so that they give me far more freedom of movement. They also make it easier to put in a thigh pad and box. —Glenn Turner
