Probably a bit of a regular question but I don’t really give a shit:
Ever try to tally up exactly how long it took you to land a new trick? I figured out that it took me somewhere between 42 to 45 hours to teach myself how to 180 no comply, haha. I’m not what you’d call “a natural”. I remember thinking that Stephen Hawking could have probably done it quicker.

It took me at least 100 hours if not more for me to learn them. I went through 2 entire decks (tail wearing out slightly "frontside"), which is absurd in 1988 equipment longevity. I hate no complies but still do them just because it took so long to learn.

I learned 180 no complies in an evening but I'm absolute trash at skateboarding so don't be discouraged because it is one of two tricks that I can do consistently
