Title: Rainy day spots Boston?
Post by: VHS ERA on June 21, 2018, 05:16:32 AM
Will be there Saturday and the weather looks iffy. Gotta make the call tonight whether to bring the board or not. Any covered spots that stay dry? Not really interested in skateparks

Thanks. What’s there to skate at Jmann?

I know alewife train station but don’t remember there being anything to skate there other than maybe a curb

I used to fuck with one of the garages underneath the Prudential Center when I lived there, but don't remember which entrance worked. You can always skate the bowl / ask for recommendations at Orchard too. It's a perfect shop.

Sort of after the fact, but...

I was there for the pile of shit. He isn't kidding. That said, that was the only time I've seen shit there, and I've skated there a lot. And yes, it's just a curb.

Prudential is a role of the dice. Sometimes you are there for an hour or so, sometimes you are booted in seconds.

Quincy Adams station on the redline has some good stuff, but the MBTA cops can be turboclown dicks. Again, a roll of the dice.

Tufts had a killer garage with a TON of plywood to move around/set-up, but that is gone now. My b/s disaster in my sig file was at that spot.

There is a real good secret spot / garage outside of the city that has parking blocks, a ledge, and some other stuff, and it's never a bust...but we want to keep it that way.
