I searched em up and saw their website up and running. I just ordered this one :https://www.alienworkshop.com/collections/decks/products/yaje-popson-exalt-el-cado (https://www.alienworkshop.com/collections/decks/products/yaje-popson-exalt-el-cado) Looks like they got a new drop too.

Wait they were gone?

Wait they were gone?
a couple years ago, but they restarted with Joey Guevarra, Yaje and Frankie Spears...are all those guys on Adidas flow?
-
They relaunched from Dayton in October 2015 less than a year after folding with a new am team (a few of which have gone pro) in the Bunker Down video.

Maybe it's because he got on during an earlier iteration of Alien, but I've legitimately never understood how someone thought Mikey Taylor ever fit on Alien Workshop. The context of current day Mikey and how much he's kooked himself could make it just a judgement based on hindsight, but can someone please explain how he ever fit?

Well I knew they were on and off, and now they look pretty stable.

No Duane Pitre or Scott Conklin pro models in the new drop? I'm out!
-
Thread is funnier than it should be. Yaje and Nguyen are sick. Everyone else is sick but they all look and dress the same. I kinda like their whole 'Techie about to gentrify the shit outta Detroit' vibe they got going on.

Someone get the DeLorean.

i skated one of those mike hill alien reissue decks a few months ago, one of the best feeling boards ive skated in a while surprisingly

This is my favorite part ever. Can we agree that this is probably the pinnacle clip in which both the company and these riders will ever be a part of?

No, it's not the same as it was before but this new iteration is honestly going well. They've stayed pretty consistent with the videos. I think turning Frankie pro was a little questionable but they needed another pro, I think only Joey and Yaje were pro. Brandon will probably never go pro as long as he lives in Japan.
Joey is Def the standout though, he reminds me of Mosaic but a bit updated.
I've only skated them since the comeback and I've been pretty happy with the quality

Loved this clip too. It looked/felt/sounded like some mindfield throwaways with some new mixed in. I loved mindfield.

what's next? You telling us that you can't skate at love any more?

all the Life Splicing clips were also rad... I liked the way things were going just before the plug was pulled.

as to present day... I dont have a problem with the new AWS. as most have pointed out, AWS has gone through several 're-do's' of the team. i got into it most heavily with Photo, which was a change up from Memory Screen era
Joey Guevara is definitely the one keeping me interested. i still think he's a better fit on Habitat, but I do also still like to think of the two brands as connected (which they are again...?). Anyways, the guy is a perfect fit in the Sovereign Sect camp... a lil Danny Garcia smooth/trick selection, some heavy Mosaic era vibes with the Miguel Valle filming/editing.
Also: they should put Miguel Valle on as a skater... he rips
