Going there with my girlfriend around the end of August. Any recommendations?

Foodspots?
Skatespots/parks?
Sick shit we should check out?

Haven't been there in a couple of years, but definitely check out Medika (used to be a factory for pharmaceuticals, was then squatted and is now tolerated by the city — lots of cool concerts, art venues, cultural events). Zagreb has (had?) a sick DIY bowl pretty central next to the students quarters. Just drop by Chill skate shop and I'm sure they'll get you sorted out.

Medika is still up and going - def. check it out. I'll always remember it because one of my friends was randomly living there when I passed through once. We went to some club and some girl told him he was too old for her and he was only 25, but so bummed the rest of the night haha.

I heard about that DIY bowl, really hoping that it's still up and running.
