Anyone have any idea why wheels are usually measured in metric?
Yet boards, trucks, bolts, grip & risers are usually measured in imperial
???

Maybe for precision ?
Since 1 mm = 0,0393701 inch, and if I remember correctly some brands used to have half size in millimeter.
This could be more marketable too ?

Good points. You're probably right.

Don't mind which one you use but the use of decimals and inches irks me.
8.25, pah! It's 8 1/4
How about 8.06? If it's 8 1/16 it would be 8.0625 is that too many decimals, or is it actually 8 3/50?
Madness!
Sorry, I should be in the old man rant thread.
