In the US, you legally are supposed to tag any sponsored/partnership IG posts as "#ad" or "#sponsored." Not everyone does, but if you don't, your post and potentially profile can be removed from the site and you can be fined.

It is a law that if you are posting a sponsored insta you have to label it as an ad. A bunch of celebrities were given warnings about it awhile back.

i think this is an international thing now. i'm fairly certain that when the UK passed GDPR they included a provision that all ads need to be clearly labeled as such. We dealt with it at my work.

Yes- Representing brands that are willing to pay you and help out your bar is so lame. I'm not sure how old you are, but when you get to a certain age, you can't always be super, "Core" in choosing who pays you. That's why half pro skateboarders are on Red-bull, Monster, Rock-star, Nike, Cons, and Adidas.

I don't know why I find it so funny, I just do. There is nothing cohesive about what he posts. I'd like to get drunk with him, he's probably a lot of fun. I really lost my shit when I watched him with a whole loaf of bread, feeding ducks in the park alone after just posting himself with a bunch of people earlier in the same day.

As wack as I think Biebel and Atiba are these days, based on their following, Biebel probably made around 15-20k for those 3 sponsored posts. My friend did two sponsored ads for Bud Light and got 1,000 bucks per post with around 75k followers. Generally the rule is you can charge around 1% of your following for sponsored ads.

They look at your "engagement" too, which is the amount of likes and followers. So yes, there's people who buy fake followers, but if they have 100k followers but get a couple hundred likes on a photo, it's obvious they have fake followers.
