I'm not really familiar w public domain so the homages/allusions were over my head. Just kind of felt like a contrived Disney Channel vibe.

really enjoyed the emb clips, wish there'd been more of that, but I did enjoy it.
production value was way too clean though, I think that's gonna rub a lot of people the wrong way, this should have had a grainier looser look like the og one, super 8 would have been good, or just no grey filters, too sleepy like away days.
