Jim Menscer comes to mind.
The guy was pro for Capital but it’s damn near impossible to find anything about him.... and he ripped!
-
Randy Colvin
-
Had footage in rubbish heap and two industry men
-
Sean Young
-
Genaro Vergoglini (If he was even pro). Also, everyone on Bike Skateboards.

Sean Mullendore also didn't get nearly the coverage. Maybe more than Jumped though.

Ryan Hickey
Ivan Perez
Ronnie Bertino (early EMB days)
-
I remember parts from all these guys...
-
Ryan Hickey
i felt so crazy after reading his chromeball all about getting used and screwed over when i learned he only had 40 seconds of footage
-
Liversedge tho (and Joey Bast). I guess Bast was pretty frequent in 411s.
Mike Santarosa is another that comes to mind; lots of 411 footy but not much else...

I wish there was a full Ryan Hickey part.
I thought Ronnie Bertino has lots of footage. I bought a VHS Re-issue of second hand smoke out of the bargain video bin at my old local shop in like 8th grade and he had a sick part in that. I still have it. I think his ender is the first switch back lip on a handrail. I am fairly certain he had a few full parts.

Besides a few 411 commercials for 60/40, Steven Cales barely has footage anywhere else.
Wasn’t until years later that some unseeen footy popped up in media like the bonus section of the Man Who Sold The World dvd. But even then , it was only a few clips.

Mike daher, Robbie gangemi & Ryan hickey all seem pretty elusive
-
Damien Carabajal
-
evan columbine
nikke gourd
billy shalot
and kevin henry mightve had a photo in skateboardr but that'd be about it
-

Randy Colvin
my fave video!

want to say he had stuff in the early 411's. he was dope!
-
Gino Iannucci
-
Ryan Simonetti
-
Ivan Perez is a great call.
I’ve always heard about how good he was but I don’t remember seeing anything from him other then an early half page zoo ad.
I’ve also heard Brian Blake from jersey who rode for shut was amazing but only photo I ever saw was of him pushing ... I do know he became a Rasta and a pro snowboarder and named himself True Love
-
We just weren’t inundated with footage back then. It made it special. That’s why I can remember shit from all of these guys but don’t know who yoshi tenenbaum is.

Ryan Benscoter

Totally agree but to my point I can’t think of a single Ivan Perez clip... and the only Jim Menscer clip I can remember is from the shred for life 411 section ... awsome section by the way
-
I feel like I’ve only ever seen 5 clips of Billy Valdez .
-
Mike daher, Robbie gangemi & Ryan hickey all seem pretty elusive
Ryan Hickey, Definitely. Don't remember much of him other than some magazine ads.
Gangemi was in Mixtape, though.

Bast and Ben both had full parts in I believe non fiction.... bast also had a planet earth part

Deep into the thread with no mention of Julien Stranger, I thought he was THE DUDE who never put out footage, except sky pager maybe?

I see your point but he did have that one part so he is disqualified.
-
Eric Ruwadi wasn't pro but was real good. RIP

he also had a part in the spitfire video not to mention footage strewn about the AH videos.

Total ripper ... other then the element fine artists part there is not much of him out there
-
J.R. Nieves? He had one short part in the Sessions video but was not really on the national radar otherwise.

they did, and Bast had a profile too in 411? With Liversedge though, it seems like there was so many good pics of him back in the day but hardly any footage of it ever emerged

Kien Lieu did all right for coverage I think but I feel like he never really got his shine the way he should have. Always one of my favorites anyway. At first I was like all he does is ollie but then I was like yeah but what an ollie he has.
That Ryan Hickey Chromeball interview is so good. I fully slept on him.
-
I remember parts from all these guys...
Yep...
Justin Pierce on the other hand had very little coverage. RIP

I flip flopped on posting this but since happenstance brought up Justin Pierce, I figured it's relevant.

Chops asks Ryan Hickey about it and he seemed pretty bummed on it. As a document of a particular time and place it's good though. Lot of great skaters not skating and looking cool. Supreme stuff basically.

danny gonzalez
Full part globe vid and lots of other footage

Yeah, I know. There's a lot of non-pros in this thread. I just remember someone commenting in a Chromeball interview how they thought it was rad that he got so much attention, was considered such a legend, but there's basically no skate coverage of him during his sponsored days. I think they said he never had a published photo, or maybe even that there are no skate photos of him.

Rene Mathesen, John Drake, Also my old friend Ave Bunachita

Rene Matthyssen had full parts in 1281, Da Deal Is Dead, Whatever, and Children Of The Sun not to mention a shitload of clips in 411.
Great first post by the way.

Such a sick part. Gangemi wanted to make a board company with Ricky Oyola right before Ricky started traffic. Would be sick if Gangemi was on Traffic and we could still get a clip here and there.
Also, Mike Daher's part in a visual sound is a classic. Then I feel like he had a few really sick clips with street grabs and stuff in like ipath tour clips used for on video or 411 or something

Not sure if he ever went pro for Zoo, but I want to say I would of loved a full Hamilton Harris part. Also, another mysterious rider for Zoo who had a few sick ads but never went pro was Loki. I wanted to see more of this dude who had no last name. Does anyone remember Loki?

I read the title of the thread wrong. I read it as, "90s pros with no coverage today" not "90s pros with no coverage back then."

Yeah I really only remember his line at Astor place in mix tape ... and the tribute ad when he passed ... def would have liked to have seen more

Not sure you know but he died about 15 years ago. I believe his dad owned Cheap Skates skatepark in PA. He was great in that place at a real young age and was on Real for a minute.

Yeah that's all I could think of too. His tricks were after Hamilton Harris, who also had a sick style. Harris had some cool clips in the new york city part of EE3 too.
