Which skaters did fame fuck up? Could be subtle or obvious.
Jereme Rogers obviously.
Nyjah is a parenting/child fame cocktail so shouldn't be on this list.
Paul Rodriguez prays into his hat and pays for acting lessons like every other successful sportsman to actor did (hint, there weren't any).
Spanky is constantly on an etch a sketch, seems suspect.

Tony Hawk, Bam, Jason Lee, P-Rod, Sheckler, Koston, Dyrdek, Nyjah, and 1999-01 Muska are the only famous dudes and of that group Muska and Bam probably handled it the worst.

spanky is the best, actually a humble dude and super friendly when i met him. hes one of the few pros i liked as a kid and adult.

P-Rod is easily one of the most levelheaded pro skaters to ever make it. Being a Christian, while unfortunate, doesn't make you insane. He's pretty much got the Midas touch with most of his business ventures, still skates everyday, and remains approachable according to everyone who's ever had anything to say to him. If there's ever been such a thing in professional skateboarding as a real deal role model besides Tony Hawk, Paul Rodriguez would be that guy. No fucking question.
Darrell Stanton is the most depressing good answer to pros that made it and lost their minds. Totally unique style and amazing talent completely squandered.
Jerome Rogers has always been a kook. I think us outsiders just didn't know it until it was too late. We should've saw it coming in PJLWHL with his homie humping antics, but we were too distracted by PJ blowing our minds.

Antwuan - He was known as a quiet ripper when he was coming up. The fame turned him into an obnoxious pile for years to come.
Boo - He wants to be OBJ so bad.

TK - He actually thought he was the best black skater at one point and had an ad about it.
Jereme - I mean he "retired" skateboarding then came back what a year later with the "Rogers Back" song and nobody was hyped about it.

Last interview I saw he was working as a skilled labourer of some sort. But that was long time ago

- Mariano: already 'famous' as a kid and fell of into the demonhands of crack when he was older. Vanished for years and came back with a vengeance
- Jason Lee: Famous skater in the 80's and early to mid 90's. Best 360 flip ever and he actually made it as an actor, even on Hollywood. Got caught up in scientology for years and posted weird stuff here and there. Thank god he left and got some sanity back...

Declaring bankruptcy in Australia requires you to surrender your passport for a period of time (5 years I believe).
